摘要: An irrigation pipe laying machine for glued or gasketed piped is disclosed. The example pipe laying machine includes a platform including a first end and a second end. The pipe laying machine also includes a clamp configured to grip a portion of a bell end of an upstream pipe to prevent the upstream pipe from moving, a spigot end of the upstream pipe being connected to a second upstream pipe. The pipe laying machine further includes a plunger located adjacent to the second end of the platform and configured to push against a bell end of a downstream pipe causing a spigot end of the downstream pipe to connect to the bell end of the upstream pipe. The plunger is configured to push against the face of the bell end of the downstream pipe when the clamp grips the portion of the bell end of the upstream pipe.

摘要: The invention pertains to pipe pulling systems and methods for sequentially adjoining pipes enabling one or more operators to efficiently attach the receiving and adjoining pipe ends together. As part of the pulling system, a pipe pulling apparatus is secured and can easily pull one or more sequential cascading pipes into position for attachment or adjoining from a common location. The pulling apparatus can alternatively be moved to the distal end of the previously adjoined pipe making it the new receiving pipe. Progressively cascading extended pipe systems and clusters with lateral sections and risers are built in short periods of time as compared with typical manual methods of pipe assembly and construction. A variable length pulling member of the pulling system adjoins pipes, fittings, or pipes with fittings located at remote distances with directional turns, typically orthogonal, into their adjoining or attachment position using pulleys with securing members and mechanisms.

摘要: Disclosed herein is wastewater pipe having a shape that is operable to flow both small and large volumes of wastewater. The wastewater pipe includes a bottom portion with a different diameter than to top portion. The top and bottom portions of the wastewater pipe are connected by side walls that extend tangentially from the bottom portion and intersect tangentially with the top portion. The pipes may also variously include alignment tabs.

摘要: A pipe expander assembly for replacing an existing pipe with a new pipe. The expander assembly has a slitter disposed about a wire rope and abutting an expander at a spherical joint. The expander comprises a cone to expand a slit pipe and is internally connected to the wire rope by jaws that expand and contract about the wire rope due to threading of a jam nut into the cone. A pipe puller is connected to the back of the expander at a clevis and is adapted for connection to a new pipe, either through a jaw system, an adaptor, or fusion to the pipe.

摘要: A fluid conduit with layered and partial covering material thereon is disclosed. The fluid conduit may be used for processing and treatment of fluids which must be treated to remove materials so that the resultant treated fluid may be reused and/or returned to the earth and particularly to the water table. The fluid conduit may be of many forms and types and may have attached thereto and configured thereon covering material in partial form and a selected number of layers. The fluid conduit may be a septic pipe of smooth wall, of corrugated form, and/or of any form of cross-sectional configuration including circular, elliptical, rectangular, triangular, or any other geometric shape. The fluid conduit may be used in combination with conduit in a drainage field or leaching system usually associated with a septic tank or septic system.

摘要: A process for lining a pipeline, comprising the following steps: pouring in an adhesive, introducing the tube with inversion into the pipeline by applying pressure, providing the conditions for the adhesive situated on the outside of the tube by irradiation using energy-containing waves, and maintaining the internal pressure in the introduced tube until the adhesive is cured, severing the connection between the tube and a retaining strap, which extends through the entire tube in the longitudinal direction thereof, at the end which is at the front in the direction of movement of the tube after the tube has been introduced, coupling the severed end of the retaining strap outside the pipeline to a radiation unit, using the retaining strap to pull the radiation unit, in the non-activated state, through the tube as far as the end thereof which is at the rear in the direction of movement of said tube, pulling the supply cable for the radiation unit into the tube behind said unit, and then using the supply cable to pull the radiation unit, in the activated state, through the tube.

摘要: A rehabilitating pipe for repairing an existing pipe has pipe units that are mutually coupled in a longitudinal direction of the existing pipe. Each of the pipe units has segments that are mutually coupled in a circumferential direction of the existing pipe. Each of the segments has an inner-surface plate and an outer-wall plate extending vertically from and around an entire perimeter of the inner-surface plate. The outer-wall plate has lateral plates extending along a longitudinal direction of the inner-surface plate and end plates connected between the respective lateral plates. Connecting members couple the segments together in the circumferential direction to assemble the pipe unit. A restraining member is attached to and encircles an outer circumference of the assembled pipe unit to restrain the pipe unit.

摘要: In a method for installing underground piping, a pipe installation apparatus is temporarily positioned at one end of a pipe trench, in which bedding sand has been placed. The apparatus has a pipe opening through which pipe can pass, and a plurality of rubber-tired pipe wheels arrayed around and biased radially inward toward the pipe opening. At least one wheel is a motor-operated drive wheel. A section of pipe introduced into the pipe opening will be tractively engaged by the drive wheels and pushed through the pipe opening and into the trends The drive motors are disengaged as required for connection of additional pipe sections, or for placing temporary spacers in the pipeline to facilitate subsequent installation of required pipeline fittings. The leading end of the pipeline engages a sled which rides over and levels die bedding sand while preventing the pipe from digging into the sand. The need for workers to enter the pipe trench is thus reduced or eliminated, making it possible to safely install piping in steep-walled trenches.
