    Abstract: A decorative wall system is provided that includes a number of panels that can be secured to an underlying wall and to one another in an overlapping configuration to provide a multi-layer, three-dimensional appearance to the wall. In one embodiment of the wall system, the system includes individual panels that include a decorative front surface and a rear surface. The rear surface includes undercuts along each side of the rear surface that can be positioned over the side edges of the front surface of an adjacent wall panel. The panels may each include an adhesive layer including compressible strings therein that assist the adhesive in holding the panel on a surface by forming a vacuum between the panel and the surface to which the panel is attached.

    Abstract: A slidable constructing plate comprises a protrusion and a notch on its peripheral surfaces. The protrusion is corresponding in shape to the notch. Furthermore, one groove is recessed between the top surface of the plate and the protrusion. Another groove is recessed between the bottom surface of the plate and the protrusion. One rib protrudes between the top surface and the notch, and another rib protrudes between the bottom surface and the notch. The grooves are corresponding in shape to the ribs. Two adjacent slidable constructing plates can be connected and fixed by mutual sliding through the protrusion sliding into the notch and the ribs sliding into the grooves. Slidable structures are provided to connect two adjacent slidable constructing plates to easily and firmly construct diversified products such as floors, ceilings, cabinets, and drywalls.

    Abstract: Connectors for joining adjacent modular floor covering units. The connectors include a film and an adhesive layer coated on one side of the film. To install tiles using the connectors, a first tile is placed on the floor and a connector is positioned so that the adhesive layer faces upward and does not contact the floor. The connector is typically positioned so that only a portion of the adhesive layer adheres to the underside of the tile, leaving the remainder of the connector extending from the underside of the tile. Tiles are then positioned adjacent the first tile so that a portion of the connector adheres to the adjacent tiles. In this way, the connectors span adjacent tile edges. The tiles are assembled on a underlying flooring surface without the need to attach them to the floor surface. Rather, the tiles are linked to each other with the connectors, so that the tiles create a floor covering that “floats” on the underlying floor surface.
