    摘要: A gear box has a housing and a direct current motor inside of the housing. A rotatable output shaft extends through a wall of the housing and is rotatably driven by the motor via a gear train. The gear box can be used to dispense ice from a refrigerator/freezer. The motor drives the output shaft in one direction to dispense ice cubes. The motor also drives the output shaft in an opposite direction to crush ice and dispense the crushed ice. The gear box has a low-profile height. The gear train is located in front of a motor shaft of the motor and has a maximum height which does not exceed a maximum height of the motor. The motor shaft is perpendicular to the input gear of the gear train and to the output shaft of the gear box.

    摘要: An automatic transmission comprises a multi-plate brake to brake a specified rotational element of a transmission mechanism, which includes a plurality of frictional plates, a piston, a piston cylinder member comprising cylinder in which the piston slides, and oil-pressure chambers which are formed between the piston and the cylinder and bias the piston toward the frictional plates with an oil pressure supplied thereto, and a valve body to supply the oil pressure to the oil-pressure chambers. Herein, the valve body is provided in the vicinity of an outer periphery of the piston cylinder member so as to be connected to the piston cylinder member via a connection portion, and there is provided an oil passage to supply the oil pressure from the valve body to the oil-pressure chambers via the connection portion.

    摘要: A transmission includes a transmission case, a rotatable component disposed within the transmission case, and a sump disposed below the rotatable component for storing a hydraulic fluid. A gear train baffle is disposed between the rotatable component and the transmission case. The baffle includes an outer surface, an inner surface defining a cavity that substantially encircles the rotatable component, and a plurality of tabs disposed radially outward from the outer surface. The plurality of tabs are in contact with the transmission case to prevent the baffle from rotating. A plurality of openings are located at a bottom portion of the baffle. The plurality of openings extend through the baffle between the inner surface and the outer surface. The hydraulic fluid from the rotatable component collects on the inner surface of the baffle and is directed out of the cavity through the plurality of openings into the sump.

The sleeve member has one axial end portion overlapped with the rotational shaft portion in the radial direction thereof and an opposite axial end portion meshing with an inner gear of the oil pump, and is supported by an inner circumferential surface of the oil pump housing and an inner circumferential surface of the rotational shaft portion. The projection of the stationary member is fitted onto an outer circumferential surface of the oil pump housing so as to form a faucet joint in cooperation therewith.
