    摘要: The present invention generally relates to a MEMS DVC having a shielding electrode structure between the RF electrode and one or more other electrodes that cause a plate to move. The shielding electrode structure may be grounded and, in essence, block or shield the RF electrode from the one or more electrodes that cause the plate to move. By shielding the RF electrode, coupling of the RF electrode to the one or more electrodes that cause the plate to move is reduced and capacitance modulation is reduced or even eliminated.

    摘要: A variable capacitance system including a first electrode, a second electrode, and a layer of elastically deformable dielectric material positioned between the first and the second electrode. An electret forms with the first electrode a first capacitor, and the electret forms with the second electrode a second capacitor. Capacitances of the first and second capacitors vary with deformation of the dielectric layer. The first electrode, the second electrode, and the first electret follow deformations of the dielectric layer and a deformation of the dielectric layer causes an inverse variation of capacitances of the first and of the second capacitor. The first electrode includes slots in which the electret is located, wherein the edge of the slots forms with the electret located inside the slots the first capacitor, wherein the electret is made on or in the dielectric layer.

    摘要: A variable capacitance element of the invention includes: a columnar vibrator formed inside a cylindrical hole of a supporting wall; a first circular driving electrode disposed above the columnar vibrator; a first circular capacitive electrode disposed in the middle of the columnar vibrator; a second circular driving electrode disposed on the periphery of the cylindrical hole of the supporting wall; and a second circular capacitive electrode disposed on an inner side surface of the supporting wall. An electrostatic force is increased or decreased sequentially in the circumferential direction of the second driving electrode that is divided into four parts by sequentially increasing or decreasing the driving voltage in the circumferential direction of the second driving electrode. As a result, the columnar vibrator is rotated to change the electrostatic capacitance between the first capacitive electrode and the second capacitive electrode.
