Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for managing spoofed calls to a mobile device are described, in which the mobile device receives a call transmitted over a cellular or mobile network. The call may include a set of information associated with the network, such as a geological location of a device that generated the call, a hardware device identifier corresponding to the device, an internet protocol (IP) address associated with the device, or a combination thereof. The mobile device may determine whether the call is spoofed or genuine based on the set of information. Subsequently, the mobile device may assist a user of the mobile device to manage the call, such as blocking the call from reaching the user, informing the user that the call is spoofed, facilitating the user to report the call as spoofed to an authority and/or a service provider of the network.

Abstract: A system to manage incoming communication is described. The system includes a multimedia gateway configured to handle real-time multimedia communications and a communication management server with a master AI agent that receives a notification of an incoming communication associated with a user device from a plurality of user devices. The master AI agent creates a current state for the user environment based on a context associated with the incoming communication, user preferences, and an interaction graph. An action selection function (ASF) is invoked to process the incoming communication, wherein the ASF is associated with an environment state model that implements a Markov Decision Process (MDP) to reflect different states, actions, and associated rewards, wherein the action selection function is configured to determine an action for the incoming communication. The action is executed by the multimedia gateway or an AI communication agent.

Abstract: A system and method provide media content based on a household when out-of-home. A first request for media content is received that originates from a first IP address and includes a first data element identification that is associated with a first user. A determination is made that the first IP address is associated with a first internet connected household (ICH). The first data element identification is aliased with the first ICH. A second request (that includes the first data element identification) for media content is received that originates from a second IP address that corresponds to a non-household IP address. In response to the second request and the aliasing, media content is retrieved (based on the first ICH) and transmitted to the first user at the second IP address.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention are detection systems and methods for detecting call provenance based on call audio. An exemplary embodiment of the detection system can comprise a characterization unit, a labeling unit, and an identification unit. The characterization unit can extract various characteristics of networks through which a call traversed, based on call audio. The labeling unit can be trained on prior call data and can identify one or more codecs used to encode the call, based on the call audio. The identification unit can utilize the characteristics of traversed networks and the identified codecs, and based on this information, the identification unit can provide a provenance fingerprint for the call. Based on the call provenance fingerprint, the detection system can identify, verify, or provide forensic information about a call audio source.
