摘要: A diving helmet bubble diverter comprises a front skirt portion and a rear skirt portion attached to the front skirt portion at one end. The rear skirt portion is configured for mounting onto the diving helmet breathing regulator assembly. The attached front and rear skirt portions form side pockets that divert exhaust air bubbles away from the diver's mask when the rear skirt portion is mounted onto the regulator assembly. The mounted rear skirt portion forms a protective barrier between the exterior wall of the diving helmet and the exhaust whisker of the breathing regulator assembly that prevents air bubbles exiting the whisker from coming into contact with the diving helmet during diving activities.

摘要: A method and apparatus for monitoring the movement of an object traversing a circuit and outputting data with respect thereto. Lap events are recorded and used to calculate a total lap count, split time, and elapsed time for an event that includes the repetitive traversing of a circuit. Physiologic data is monitored in the case where the object is a person. A transponder or transmitter is affixed to a user and a signal having limited range is coupled to a communications and display device when the user comes into range of the device. Each such coupling is accumulated as lap event data. Calculations are made to display the lap count and timing information as well as physiologic data. In one embodiment, the device is implemented in a watertight housing and placed at the bottom of a swimming pool. The displayed information is visible to a swimmer wearing the transponder or transmitter. In another embodiment, the display is incorporated into eyewear worn by the person traversing a repetitive circuit.

摘要: Goggles have a goggle body and a headband which are attached together on both of respective end portions thereof through respective connecting members. Each end portion of the goggle body has fitting apertures open upwardly and downwardly, and an insertion path connecting to the fitting apertures and open to a lateral end side. Furthermore each connecting member has resilient insertion pieces with protruded portions, and the protruded portions fit in the fitting apertures and come out upwardly and downwardly. At the time of detaching the connecting member from the goggle body, a wearer can easily and reliably manipulate the connecting means with his or her thumb and index finger, not only his or her thumb. And a reliable connection between the goggle body and the connecting member is obtained, and, even an outer force coming from front does not cause an inadvertent separation of them in use.

摘要: A device for regulating the length of the strap (3) on a scuba diving mask, the mask comprising a frame (1) for supporting one or two lenses and two fork-shaped portions (1a) extending from either side of said frame, each containing a pivot (15) around which a portion of the end (3a) of the strap is wrapped, said portion of strap being formed with a plurality of transverse stop ribs (4) on one side. The regulating device comprises a stop lever (16) housed inside each of the fork-shaped portions (1a) and a tooth (8) extending from the lever for engaging with one of the ribs. The lever comprises a substantially U-shaped member (6) and a tongue (7) extending from the base (6a) of the U-shaped member so that it is coplanar and cantilevered inside it, the tooth (8) extending transversely from the tongue (7). On the side opposite the tooth, a head (10) extends from the tongue, against which a wedge-shaped portion (26) of a button (25) abuts, sliding with respect to the fork-shaped portion on a plane parallel to the U-shaped member, whereby, when the button is pressed, the head is caused to slide away from the U-shaped member, with a consequent lifting of the tongue and the disengagement of the tooth from the stop rib (4).

摘要: The present invention provides an improved integrated swimming goggles mechanism. The swimming goggles of the present invention comprises a first frame made from rigid material and a second frame made from soft material. The first frame includes a pair of front lens frames each having a lens receiving grooves, a first bridge member which is connected with the inner sides of the front lens frames and has at least a joint section and at least a bending point. The second frame includes a pair of rear lens frames which are adjacent to the front lens frames and the second bridge member between the rear lens frame encircles the first bridge member. The rigid first frame mechanism provides fixing and assembling of the head strap of the swimming goggles. Due to the first bridge member and at least one bending point, the rigid first frame is provided with a desired flexibility. Moreover, the soft second frame can provide a comfort contacting with a user's face when the goggles are worn.

摘要: Swimming goggles that include a pair of lens assemblies each having an inner end portion formed with a recess and an end wall extending forward. A bridge is formed at each end with an outer leg, an inner leg and an intermediate leg. The outer leg is adapted to be firmly engaged with the recess of the lens assembly and cooperate with the inner leg to retain the end wall therebetween. The intermediate leg is adapted to be firmly engaged with a groove formed in the end wall. The swimming goggles thus constructed allow the bridge to be firmly engaged with the lens assemblies.

摘要: A lens system is adaptable to face masks for divers and camera windows andssures improved viewing characteristics underwater, including unit magnification and substantially perspective distortion-free viewing over a wider field of view. The system includes a first lens having a concave outer face contacting water and a concave inner face contacting a gas filled interior. A second lens spaced apart from the first lens in the interior has a convex outer surface and a flat inner surface. The concave outer face and concave inner face of the first lens and the convex outer surface and flat an inner surface of the second lens are coaxially aligned and optically oriented to afocally process and transmit light passing through them to a nodal point in the interior. At least one of the outer face, concave inner face, convex outer surface and inner surface defines an aspheric curve. A pair of such lens systems may be mounted in a face mask structure or a single modified lens system having a flat outer face may be mounted in a case for an underwater camera.

摘要: A pair of swimming goggles includes two lenses, two pads, a bridge, and a strap. The lenses are made of transparent material and each includes a recessed section for receiving an eye portion of a user. Each lens further includes an inner end, a streamlined outer end, and a flange formed on an inner side thereof. The bridge interconnects the inner ends of the lenses. The pads are substantially ring-like and made of plastic material. Each pad includes a receiving section for receiving an associated flange and a contact section for providing a close, comfortable contact with the user's eye socket. Each pad further includes an outer end with an opening through which one of the ends of the strap is wound. The strap connection is thus improved to provide a larger visual angle, increase safety, and provide a comfortable and reliable contact with the user's head.
