摘要: A dual gas and AC electric hair styler comprises: a heater, a housing, and a control member movably disposed in the housing. One end of the control member is exposed out of the housing and another end of the control member is inserted in the housing to connect a linkage device of the heater. The linkage device includes a guiding member. A gas supply and an electric power supply are selectively inserted in the housing to the heater and each have a valve which is pressed to achieve connection. The axial movement of the control member causes axial movements of the linkage device and the guiding member to affect connection of the gas and the electric power supply to the heater. The hair styler can be powered by gas or electric power, and the switching of gas and electric power supplies can be done by the control member.

摘要: A vehicle glass removal system and method using a heating element and thermoplastic adhesive is disclosed, whereby a resistance heating element is deployed along the bond line between a vehicle glass member and its supporting vehicle frame. The system accepts user input and activates the heating element, causing the adhesive along the bond line to weaken, thereby reducing or completely eliminating the need for a cutting operation when separating the glass from the frame. Two embodiments are contemplated for the deployment of the heating element: embedded within the perimeter of the glass member, or preferably deployed along the vehicle window frame. The system includes safety precautions that prevent the heating element from operating while the vehicle is in operation, including authenticated access and communication with the vehicle electrical system to recognize the state of the vehicle.

摘要: A heater sewn on clothes is revealed. The heater includes a cover layer sewn on clothes and a heating unit. The cover layer consists of an inner layer, an outer layer, and an intermediate layer between the inner layer and the outer layer. The heating unit is arranged at the intermediate layer. Each side of the inner layer and of the outer layer forming the intermediate layer is disposed with a waterproof membrane having a high melting point. One end of each conductive wire connected to a high resistance filament includes at least two strands of electric filaments wound around and connected to the high resistance filament. The waterproof membranes are melted by high temperature and high pressure treatment so as to make the waterproof membranes of the heating unit and of the cover layer connect with each other and achieve water resistance.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a liquid ejection head includes the following processes in the following order: forming a first metal layer containing a first metal material on an insulating layer of a base on which a plurality of thermal energy generating elements and the insulating layer are laminated in this order; forming a second metal layer containing a second metal material on the first metal layer, and then patterning the second metal layer to form a plurality of protective portions; patterning the first metal layer to form a connection portion for electrically connecting the plurality of protective portions; inspecting the conduction of the connection portion and the plurality of energy generating elements; and patterning the connection portion to thereby electrically isolate the plurality of protective portions and form a plurality of close contact portions which are electrically isolated from each other.

摘要: An image heating apparatus includes a image heating roller in a nip; a nip forming member; a heating roller rubbing roller; a moving mechanism for moving the rubbing roller between a spaced position and a rubbing position; and a controller for executing operations in first and second modes. In the first mode, the heating roller is rotated with the rubbing roller in the spaced position and the heating roller in contact with the nip forming member with a target temperature of the heating roller higher than that of the nip forming member. In the second mode, the rubbing roller is contacted with the heating roller rubbing the surface of the heating roller. The temperature difference in the first mode between the target temperature of the heating roller and that of the nip forming member is larger than the temperature difference when the toner image is heated by the nip.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for performing laser annealing in a manner that reduces or minimizes wafer surface temperature variations during the laser annealing process. The systems and methods include annealing the wafer surface with first and second laser beams that represent preheat and anneal laser beams having respective first and second intensities. The preheat laser beam brings the wafer surface temperate close to the annealing temperature and the anneal laser beam brings the wafer surface temperature up to the annealing temperature. The anneal laser beam can have a different wavelength, or the same wavelength but different orientation relative to the wafer surface. Reflectivity maps of the wafer surface at the preheat and anneal wavelengths are measured and used to select first and second intensities that ensure good anneal temperature uniformity as a function of wafer position.
