Abstract:
A method and apparatus for routing traffic in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) transmits information on the routing of the traffic to a network, and routes the traffic to at least one of 3rd generation partnership protocol (3GPP) long-term evolution (LTE) or wireless local area network (WLAN), according to the information on routing of the traffic. The information on the routing of the traffic may be a ratio of an amount of the traffic to be served by the 3GPP LTE and an amount of the traffic to be served by the WLAN, or a preferred WLAN throughput.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for indicating device-to-device (D2D) related information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) indicates at least one of a service type of a D2D operation, quality of service (QoS) characteristics of the D2D operation or a D2D configuration to a network.
Abstract:
A method is presented for configuring a device-to-device (D2D) mode by an eNodeB (eNB) in a wireless communication system. The eNB configures the D2D mode indicating which D2D mode a user equipment (UE) operates in for a D2D communication. The eNB transmits an information on the configured D2D mode to the UE. The D2D mode is one of an evolved-universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) terrestrial radio access network (E-UTRAN) planned mode or a UE autonomous mode. The E-UTRAN planned mode is a D2D mode in which the eNB controls radio resources for the D2D communication, and the UE autonomous mode is a D2D mode in which the UE controls radio resources for the D2D communication.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a network access blocking method performed by a user equipment. The method may comprise the steps of: receiving application specific congestion control for data communication (ACDC) blocking information and access class barring (ACB) blocking information; determining the category of an application being executed according to a network access attempt by the application; performing an ACDC blocking check on the basis of the determined category and the received ACDC blocking information. Here, when the network access attempt by the application is not blocked as a result of the ACDC blocking check, an ACB blocking check on the basis of the ACB blocking information may be skipped.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for device-to-device (D2D) performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system and a terminal using the method. The method is characterized by: delivering data related to D2D operation from an upper layer to a lower layer from among protocol layers of the terminal; starting a timer when the data is delivered; and transmitting a D2D signal using an exception resource, when the timer expires.
Abstract:
Provided are a D2D (device-to-device) signal transmitting method implemented by a terminal in a wireless communication system, and a terminal using the method. The method is characterized by the operations of: receiving information showing whether a mode 2 operation is allowed in an exceptional state; determining whether the exceptional state is in effect; and when the exceptional state is determined to be in effect, implementing the mode 2 operation, wherein in the mode 2 operation, the terminal selects a certain resource from a resource pool, and the selected resource is used to transmit the D2D signal.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for configuring a buffer status report (BSR) for a public safety transmission or a vehicle-related (V2X) transmission in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) configures a device-to-device (D2D) logical channel corresponding to the public safety transmission or the V2X transmission, and triggers a proximity-based services (ProSe) BSR for the D2D logical channel. The UE accommodates the triggered ProSe BSR in a media access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) if the MAC PDU can accommodate only one BSR MAC control element (CE).
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for configuring multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) minimization of drive test (MDT) in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a representative multicast control channel (MCCH) indicator from a network, and receives a MBMS-MDT configuration on a representative MCCH, which is indicated by the representative MCCH indicator, among multiple MCCHs from the network. Thereafter, the UE performs MBMS-MDT based on the received MBMS-MDT configuration.
Abstract:
Provided are a device-to-device (D2D) operation method and device which are performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system. The method comprises: receiving D2D configuration information indicating a plurality of resources which can be used for a D2D operation from a network; selecting a specific resource from among the plurality of resources; and performing the D2D operation with another terminal using the selected specific resource, wherein the specific resource is selected on the basis of a reference signal received power (RSRP) which the terminal has received from the network.
Abstract:
A disclosure of the present specification provides a method of blocking network access in user equipment (UE). The method may include the steps of: receiving application attribute related information at a home public land mobile network (HPLMN); receiving application specific congestion control for data communication (ACDC) blocking information at the HPLMN or a visited PLMN (VPLMN); determining the category of an application being executed based on the application attribute related information when there is information on the application being executed in the application attribute related information; and performing an ACDC blocking check based on matched ACDC blocking information when the ACDC blocking information is matched with the determined category from among the ACDC blocking information.
