Abstract:
A method of performing cross-authentication in a vehicle controller interworking with an external device includes: generating a random number S and transmitting the random number S to the external device according to an authentication request message received from the external device; generating a variable i using a first function having the random number S as a parameter; generating a first session key Ks using a second function having the variable i and a pre-stored secret key K as parameters; receiving a first response key from the external device; generating a second response key using a third function having the random number S, the variable i and the first session key Ks as parameters; and authenticating the external device based on whether the first response key is equal to the second response key.
Abstract:
A methane (CH4) gas is synthesized from carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) using catalyst-dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) plasma at room temperature and atmospheric pressure. In the method and apparatus for synthesizing methane gas of the invention, methane (CH4) gas, which is synthetic natural gas, can be effectively synthesized only from carbon dioxide (CO2) and hydrogen (H2) using DBD plasma at room temperature and atmospheric pressure, and also, additional heating and pressurization devices are not used during the methane gas synthesis process, thus reducing production costs and realizing high-value-added processing due to the absence of risks during the processing.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for authenticating packets in a controller area network (CAN) are disclosed. The method includes transmitting messages using a mixture of message authentication codes (MACs) in a controller area network (CAN). In addition, a first MAC is generated using a first message and the first MAC is divided into a first MAC part and a second MAC part. A second MAC is generated using a second message and the second MAC is divided into a third MAC part and a fourth MAC part. A linear operation is performed between the second MAC part and the third MAC part to generate a first authentication MAC. The first message is transmitted with the first MAC part and the second message is transmitted with the first authentication MAC.
Abstract:
Provided is a 15-PGDH activity adjusting function of a Dendropanax morbifera extract. More specifically, since it has been confirmed that the Dendropanax morbifera extract has an outstanding effect in suppressing 15-PGDH activity and so increasing PGE2, a composition of the present invention which contains the Dendropanax morbifera extract as an active ingredient has the advantage of being able to be used for producing a functional health food and a therapeutic agent for a disease associated with PGE2.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a fault-localization and error-correction method for a self-checking binary signed-digit adder and a digital logic circuit for performing the method. More specifically, a fault-localization and error-correction method for a self-checking binary signed-digit adder in which a stuck-at fault of the self-checking binary signed-digit adder may be detected at low cost and with low complexity and in which an error may be autonomously corrected using the self-dual concept, and a digital logic circuit for performing the method are disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a peptide derived from the Helicobacter pylori ribosomal protein L1, and the use of this peptide an antibiotic. More specifically, the peptide is derived by making site-specific substitution mutations in a peptide consisting of amino acids 2-20 of the Helicobacter pylori ribosomal protein L1. The resulting peptide has both antibacterial activity and anti-inflammatory activity, but no cytotoxicity.
Abstract:
A composite material for a temperature sensor and a method of manufacturing the temperature sensor using the composite material are provided. The composite material contains four or more kinds of metal oxides combined with highly insulating materials to produce a material with semiconductor-like properties to more accurately measure a temperature at high temperatures in the range of 500° C. and above. The sensor includes electrode wires having a predetermined diameter inserted into the metal oxide of the temperature sensor when the metal oxide is press-molded to form the temperature sensor. Through the connection of the electrode wires to the temperature sensor device, disconnection of the electrode wires from the device even at a high temperature.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are an apparatus and a method for detecting a crack. The apparatus includes a power supply unit, a sensor module, and a signal reception module. The power supply unit supplies power. The sensor module receives the input power from the power supply unit, and outputs sensing power corresponding to the magnetic field of an object to be measured. The signal reception unit converts the sensing power output from the sensor module into a quantitative value, and computes the distribution of the magnetic field. The sensor module includes a first sensor array configured to detect magnetic field vectors in a direction vertical to a sensor surface, and a second sensor array placed on the first sensor array in an overlapping manner and configured to detect magnetic field vectors in a direction lateral with respect to the sensor surface.
Abstract:
An apparatus for detecting an in-vehicle network attack, is configured to cumulatively count packets for each device that has a respective ID and is connected to an in-vehicle network bus. The apparatus is configured to cumulate a check value every time the packets are cumulatively counted to calculate a cumulated value, and determine that an attack is conducted when an average cumulated value obtained by dividing the cumulated value by a cumulative counted value does not exceed a first threshold value.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a high-performance shear friction damper provided in a building construction and attenuating a vibration which is applied to the building construction due to external loads such as an earthquake or strong wind. The high-performance shear friction damper includes first and second support bodies supported to a building construction or damping rods, two prop plates fixed to the second support body and extending to surround both side surfaces of the first support body, friction plates mounted between the first support body and the prop plates, and fastening units each including a tension bolt penetrating the first support body, the friction plates and the prop plates, and a nut fastened to an end of the tension bolt, wherein the first support body has slots extending in a horizontal direction, the tension bolts extend while penetrating the slots to allow the first support body to be slidably movable in the horizontal direction with respect to the friction plates.
