Abstract: A blood purification apparatus that includes a blood purifier, a vascular access flow path, a cleaning solution flow path, and a drainage flow path. The blood purifier has an inner portion divided by a semi-permeable membrane into a first portion and a second portion. The vascular access flow path is connected to the blood purifier and is in communication with the first portion. The cleaning solution flow path is connected to the blood purifier and is in communication with the first portion. The drainage flow path is connected to the blood purifier and is in communication with the second portion. The cleaning solution flow path is provided with a blood pump capable of bidirectionally feeding a fluid. An open-close valve is provided in each of the vascular access flow path and the drainage flow path.

Abstract: An effortless means for deflating a balloon of a catheter. A catheter system includes a catheter, a circuit for making fluid flow through the catheter, and a drive device having a bidirectionally drivable pump and a controller. The catheter includes an inflatable balloon, and a first lumen and a second lumen that allow the fluid to flow through the balloon. The controller drives the pump in a first direction to make the fluid flow from a buffer tank via a first flow path into the first lumen and to make the fluid flow out from the second lumen via a second flow path to the buffer tank, and drives the pump in a second direction opposite to the first direction to make the fluid flow from the first lumen via the first flow path into the buffer tank.

Abstract: In a vacuum heat insulating double walled container 1, adsorbent blocks 30 are formed in block, and each of the adsorbent blocks 30 disposed on the peripheral surface of a sample storage container 25 is placed on a partition plate 27. Moreover, an inner container 10 is hang in an outer container 3 using a connecting tube 20 formed of a thin material having an uneven outer peripheral surface, and a heat insulating tube 40 is disposed on the inner surface of the connecting tube 20. Further, as to a workpiece carrier 50 as a fixing device, a carrier guide 52 is in close contact with the heat insulating tube 40, and a plate-like portion 54 and a workpiece storage portion 51 are disposed in a non-contact state with respect to the sample storage container 25. As a result, it is possible to suppress the amount of heat transferred from the inner container 10 to the outer container 3, and vibration and impact is less likely to applied to a sample in the workpiece storage portion 51 even if an external force such as impact is applied to the vacuum heat insulating double walled container 1.

Abstract: Two different antibodies that specifically bind to tau protein or phosphorylated tau protein are used. One of the two different antibodies is a first antibody immobilized on a support or labeled with a molecule capable of binding to the support, and the other of the two different antibodies is a second antibody labeled without being immobilized on the support. The tau protein includes an N-terminal domain, a C-terminal domain, and an intermediate domain located between the N-terminal and C-terminal domains. Epitopes recognized by the first and second antibodies are each an amino acid sequence contained in the intermediate domain or an amino acid sequence contained in the N-terminal domain. One of the first and second antibodies is first subjected to an antigen-antibody reaction with the blood sample, and the other of the first and second antibodies is subsequently subjected to an antigen-antibody reaction with the blood sample.

Abstract: A fire blasting device for manufacturing a medical glass container prevented from breakage and deformation.
