摘要： Trifluoromethanesulfonic and p-toluenesulfonic acid bis- or tris(p-tert-butoxyphenyl)sulfonium salts are novel. They are prepared from bis(p-tert-butoxyphenyl)sulfoxide which is also novel. A chemically amplified positive resist composition which contains the sulfonium salt as a photo-acid generator is highly sensitive to deep-UV rays, electron beams and X-rays, can be developed with alkaline aqueous solution to form a pattern, and is thus suitable for use in a fine patterning technique.

摘要： This invention relates to a toner density control method for an image recording apparatus including the steps of: obtaining, as a sensitivity of a toner density sensor, a change amount in output voltage of the sensor with respect to that in control voltage for controlling a strength of the magnetic field generated by the sensor; calculating a ratio of the sensitivity of the sensor to that of a standard toner density sensor, thus obtaining a correction value; discriminating which one of plurality of ranges bounded in accordance with operational results of a value of the output voltage of the standard toner density sensor and the correction value of the output voltage of the sensor belongs to, and changing a replenishing amount of the toner on the basis of a discrimination result, and relates to an apparatus for practicing the method.

摘要： A riding-type lawn mower has a cutter housing with a rear discharge slot defined in a rear wall thereof. The cutter housing accommodates a pair of cutter blades laterally spaced from each other and rotatable in a substantially horizontal plane. The cutter blades are arranged such that the cutter blade on the righthand side as viewed in a forward direction of the lawn mower body is rotatable clockwise as viewed in plan and the cutter blade on the lefthand side as viewed in the forward direction of the lawn mower body is rotatable counterclockwise as viewed in plan. The cutter housing has an upper wall that has a pair of laterally spaced portions raised upwardly and defining respective discharge passages in the cutter housing that lead to the rear discharge slot. Rotative power from a lawn mower engine is transmitted to the cutter blades by a belt-and-pulley mechanism disposed on a low flat portion defined between the raised portions of upper wall. The cutter housing has a scroll-shaped discharge guide for guiding grass clippings smoothly into the rear discharge slot.

摘要： Disclosed is an electroconductive silicone composition, which contains an acetylene black having an HCl-absorption of 12 ml/5 g or less and an I-adsorption of 50 mg/g or less and which has improved workability. The composition may further contain a magnesium carbonate, a silicone oil and/or a carbon black having a mean grain size of 200 m.mu. or more and a specific surface area of 15 m.sup.2 /g or less. The it composition has improved reproducibility and temperature-dependent stability with respect to the electroconductivity as well as improved fire-resistance.Also disclosed is a silicone ink comprising (A) an addition-curable polyorganosiloxane, (B) a carbon black having an I-adsorption of 50 mg/g or less, a mean grain size of 35 m.mu. or more and a DBP adsorption of 150 ml/100 g or more, and (C) a solvent. The ink has improved storage stability.

摘要： An exhaust and lubricating system for an outboard motor wherein the outboard motor is provided with an underwater high speed exhaust gas discharge and an above the water low speed exhaust gas discharge. A duck bill type of check valve is provided in the above the water exhaust gas discharge for precluding water from being drawn into the expansion chamber. The engine has a lubricating system with a lubricant reservoir that surrounds the exhaust pipe and is formed integrally with the exhaust pipe. Interconnecting ribs connect the exhaust pipe to the lubricant reservoir and lubricant is returned to the reservoir so that it contacts the wall of the reservoir where the ribs are joined for additional cooling.

With this invention, collecting data for controlling temperature in a cooled show-case or in a reservoir of perishable foods, blood or vaccines can be done with a thermograph which is low-priced, small-sized and easy to handle.

The heat dissipation device includes a base that is formed from a ceramic and a refrigerant channel for circulating a refrigerant within the base. The base is formed by sintering a stacked body in which a plurality of ceramic sheets are stacked. The plurality of ceramic sheets include the ceramic sheet which is provided with a plurality of slits that constitute the refrigerant channel, and the ceramic sheets which are provided with communication paths that communicate the refrigerant channel and outside units with each other. A semiconductor device is configured by bonding a metal plate, on which a semiconductor element is mounted, to the heat dissipation device.
