摘要: The present invention is an intralumenal stent device made up of two or more elements. Each element has undulations forming peaks and valleys and is formed from a repeating series including a long segment, a first midsized segment, a short segment, and a second midsized segment. These elements are aligned on a common axis and are connected directly to an adjacent element by a connection. The stent incorporates the advantages of having both long and short segments into a single element.

摘要: Methods and devices are provided to contribute to improved stent graft fixation within vessels at treatment sites. Improved stent graft fixation within vessels at treatment sites is provided by providing stent grafts and methods of making and using stent grafts having structural scaffoldings which undergo controlled galvanic corrosion in situ. Other embodiments include stent grafts having galvanic cells attached to the vessel luminal wall-contacting sides. Still other embodiments include stent grafts that undergo controlled galvanic corrosion and include at least one additional cell growth promoting factor.

摘要: A method for balancing brake force is disclosed. The method includes determining whether a deceleration value reaches a first deceleration threshold in response to a braking event and determining brake condition and vehicle motion. Based on brake condition and vehicle motion determination and the first deceleration threshold determination, the method determines whether the deceleration value reaches a second deceleration threshold, and applies threshold balancing when the second deceleration threshold is reached.

摘要: This invention relates to a method of treating an immune-mediated disorder having one or more manifestations. The method comprises administering to a patient requiring such treatment a gold compound and at least one corticosteroid, wherein the at least one corticosteroid is selected to interact synergistically with the gold compound to exhibit preferential action towards one of the manifestations of said disorder or to exhibit equal action towards each manifestation of said disorder. The invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition suitable for use in the method.

摘要: A dual signal correlation system including a component to be monitored and a sensor system for monitoring the status of the component. The sensor system provides at least first and second data signals relating to the status of the component. The dual signal correlation system further includes a processing system for receiving, monitoring and selectively modifying the first and second data signals of the sensor system. The processing system compares a current value for the first data signal to a current value for the second data signal, and wherein if the current value for the first data signal is determined not to be correlated or is determined to be uncorrelated with the current value for the second data signal, a previously measured value for the first data signal, instead of the current value for the first data signal, is used for subsequent processing.

摘要: The invention discloses a sawbuck. The sawbuck comprises a rectangular base, from the base there are upwardly projecting side walls, on two sides there is an outer and inner wall. The distance between the inner and outer walls define an opening, the said opening is for holding slats, the slats are positioned for holding logs, the logs are placed across the facing side walls in between the slats.

摘要: An apparatus and method for additive fabrication which helps to prevent the newly hardened layer from being separated from the previously formed layer of the object while the foil is peeled from the newly hardened layer is provided. In one embodiment, use of a peel angle helps prevent the newly hardened layer from being separated from the previously formed layer during peeling by distributing the peeling force so that less of the z-direction component of the peeling force is applied to the newly hardened layer. In another embodiment, the object can be oriented to initiate the peel at an area, of the object which results in a lesser initial peeling force applied to the newly hardened layer.
