Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a communications method and apparatus, and relate to the field of communications technologies, to reduce power consumption of a terminal. The method includes: receiving information about one or more cell groups, where one cell group includes one first cell and at least one second cell; and for the cell group, determining carrier bandwidth part BWP switching or a deactivated state of the at least one second cell in the cell group based on BWP switching or a deactivated state of the first cell in the cell group. The method provided in the embodiments of this application may be applied to a carrier aggregation scenario.

Abstract: The disclosure describes example methods. The N first time subunits are time subunits used for sidelink transmission in the first time unit, and the actual transmit power of the sidelink is constant in the N first time subunits.

Abstract: A method is provided, comprising: receiving resource indication information sent by a network device, where the resource indication information is used to indicate resource block groups RBGs allocated to the terminal device in a bandwidth part BWP, and the BWP includes N segments of frequency domain resources; for one of the N segments of frequency domain resources, a size P of an RBG other than the first RBG and the last RBG in the segment of frequency domain resources is determined based on a sum of bandwidths of the N segments of frequency domain resources; and for one of the N segments of frequency domain resources, a size of the first RBG in the segment of frequency domain resources is determined based on a start location of the segment of frequency domain resources and P; and transmitting a signal on the resource block groups RBGs allocated to the terminal device.

Abstract: Example communication methods and a communications apparatus are described. One example method includes receiving first information by a terminal device, where the first information indicates an identifier of a first frequency domain resource, and the first frequency domain resource is contiguous in frequency domain. When a status of the terminal device is a first state, the terminal device with a network device on a second frequency domain resource based on the first information, where the second frequency domain resource includes a plurality of segments of contiguous frequency domain resources, and the first frequency domain resource is one segment of the plurality of segments of contiguous frequency domain resources. According to the foregoing method, the terminal device may communicate, based on the received first information, with the network device on the second frequency domain resource when the status of the terminal device is the first state.
