    摘要: A separable slide fastener comprises a pair of warp-knit stringer tapes each having a pair of webs with a wale-free region therebetween, which are interconnected by a connector thread extending across the wale-free region at longitudinal intervals, the wale-free region being receptive of a chain of thread loops for attaching the stringer tape to a fabric. A pair of rows of coupling elements is mounted on opposite longitudinal edges of the stringer tapes, respectively and taken into and out of interdigitating engagement by a slider movable along the rows of coupling elements. The stringer tapes have at one end thereof a separable bottom end stop. A reinforcement member is mounted on each of the stringer tapes at the one end thereof and connected to the separable bottom end stop. The reinforcement member extends between the tape webs across the wale-free region and includes means adjacent to the wale-free region for anchoring an end of the chain of thread loops on the reinforcement member against displacement thereof. The anchoring means comprises a projection extending from a body of the reinforcement member in a direction away from the stringer tape and located substantially in alignment with one of the webs of the stringer tape. The projection serves to prevent the end of the loop chain extending around the reinforcement body from being displaced off the body.

    摘要: A warp-knit stringer tape, for slide fasteners, including a pair of transversely non-stretchable longitudinal edge portions and a transversely stretchable intermediate portion extending therebetween. The stringer tape has a knit ground structure composed of chain stitches and tricot stitches. At the stretchable intermediate portion, the tricot stitches are formed of a plurality of elastic yarns such as stretch yarns, while the chain stitches are formed of a plurality of non-elastic yarns such as multifilament yarns. At least one elastic weft yarn is laid in the knit ground structure at the stretchable intermediate portion.

    摘要: A velvet-type or snap-together fastener web comprises a warp-knitted ground structure and series of interlooped loops disposed in at least every other wale, each loop including a pair of mushroomed stems projecting from the wale at each course. To produce such a fastener web, a double-faced fabric is knitted on a Raschel warp knitting machine, and is separated into a plurality of strips by dissolving transversely spaced water-soluble threads in the fabric. Each strip is divided into front and back fabric webs by severing thermoplastic thread portions therebetween, leaving a multiplicity of raised stems on each fabric web. The raised fabric stems are then heated to mushroom their ends.

A third set of yarns are knitted in the ground structure so as to form chains of loops and extend along the wales in at least one of opposite tape edge portions. The first and third sets of yarns include multifilament synthetic yarns. A fourth set of yarns are laid in the ground structure and extend in and along the last-mentioned wales.

    摘要: Two or more warp-knitted members of a tubular or cylindrical shape are interconnected by a connecting thread to provide reinforcement to be inserted longitudinally in a row of helically coiled fastener elements. The tubular warp-knitted members may be wrapped around core members. A choice is available of diameters of the warp-knitted members so as to be compatible with the particular shapes and contours of given fastener elements. A plurality of warp-knitted members are interconnected in such a fashion that the resulting reinforcement can be adapted for securing a relatively large-size fastener element onto the tape.

    摘要: In a slide fastener made of fabric having a stopper portion composed of thermoplastic synthetic resin material, the fastener tape contains a rough-pattern-structure region at least adjacent to a side of the fastener element row on an inner side of the fastener tape. An end portion of the stopper portion on the inner side of the fastener tape is disposed in the rough-pattern-structure region and fused to a foundation structure of the fastener tape in the rough-pattern-structure region. Thus, even if the length of the stopper portion in the tape width direction is short, the stopper portion does not interfere with a sewing machine foot during sewing, so that the sewing line does not meander even at the position near the fastener element row. Further, the end portion of the stopper portion can be fused and fixed to the foundation structure of the rough-pattern-structure region.
