    摘要: A navigation apparatus and method that store route information, the stored route information including, for each of a plurality of routes starting at a first point and ending at a second point, a required travel time and a traffic condition. The apparatus and method determine whether a guidance route includes the first point and the second point of a stored route. The apparatus and method read out, if a guidance route includes the first point and the second point of a stored route, the stored route information for the stored route that shares the first point and the second point with the guidance route. The read out stored route information having a same or similar traffic condition as a current traffic condition. The apparatus and method output the required time to travel the stored route from the read route information.

    摘要: An electrically conductive silicone rubber composition comprises, at least, (A) 100 parts by weight of an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups per molecule, (B) an organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule (an amount sufficient to cure the present composition), (C) a platinum based catalyst (an amount sufficient to promote the cure of the present composition), (D) 50 parts by weight to 5,000 parts by weight of a metal based electrically conductive filler, and (E) 5 parts by weight to 500 parts by weight of spherical silicone rubber particles with a surface active agent content of not more than 0.3 wt %.

    摘要: From a mobile communication device, road information about either a preliminarily registered point or an arbitrary point on a route from a present position to a destination is transmitted to and received in a network navigation center via a cellular phone base station and a general telephone network. Based on that road information, the network navigation center retrieves traffic information about the registered point or the arbitrary point on the route, and then transmits the retrieved traffic information to the mobile communication device via the general telephone network and the cellular phone base station. The traffic information includes traffic congestion area data about the registered point or the arbitrary point on the route, which is displayed on a display in the mobile communication device wherein the user is informed of future traffic information like traffic congestion.

    摘要: Disclosed is a communicatory navigation system including an information center (150), at least one navigation unit (100) each mounted on a vehicle and communication means for allowing bi-directional data communication between the information center and the navigation unit. Data transmission from the navigation unit to the information center is made during a period of communication that begins when the navigation unit become communicable with the information center and ends when the bi-directional data communication therebetween is disconnected. The navigation unit is provided with a drive route history memory area (131) and an instrument operation history memory area (132), and data in these memory areas are transmitted to the information center, together with the vehicle current position data and the destination position data. The information center determines a recommended drive route from the current position to the destination, not only with reference to its own database (158) but also taking into consideration the history data. For example, if it is determined that there is a traffic accident or heavy traffic jam in some route, a bypass route is determined and transmitted back to the navigation unit. When the previous drive route indicated by data in area (131) is not found in the database (158), it can be recognized as a newly constructed road for inclusion in the database.

    摘要: A container for wetted tissues comprises a container body, a stationary lid member and a movable lid member each molded from a suitable synthetic resin material. The stationary lid member fits on the container body to close an upper opening of the container body and the movable lid member is hinged to the stationary lid member so as to cover an opening formed substantially in a central zone of the stationary lid member through which the wetted tissues will be picked out. Any one of an upper surface of the stationary lid member and an inner surface of the movable lid member is provided with an elastic strip fixed across the hinged portion. As the movable lid member is closed, the elastic strip is curved generally in a U-shape or .OMEGA.-shape within a space defined between the inner surface of the movable lid member and the upper surface of the stationary lid member and thereby charged with an elastic energy biasing the movable lid member to be opened.
