摘要: A fuel tank containing a fuel and oil mixture is managed to determine if the fuel and oil mixture contains the correct ratio for a motor. The fuel tank containing a fuel and oil mixture is monitored. A fuel to oil ratio is selected for the motor. A combined viscosity of the fuel and oil mixture is calculated with respect to the fuel to oil ratio, and the temperature of the fuel and oil mixture. The combined viscosity is used to determine a predetermined range of the combined viscosity. The viscosity of the fuel and oil mixture within the fuel tank is measured as a measured viscosity. If the measured viscosity of the fuel and oil mixture does not correspond with the predetermined range, then a user may be alerted that the measured viscosity does not correspond with the predetermined range.

摘要: A process of forming a side-chain-functionalized polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) material is disclosed. The process includes forming a PHA material having a vinyl-terminated side-chain from a vinyl-terminated fatty acid via a bacterial fermentation process. The process also includes forming a PHA material having a hydroxyl-terminated side-chain from the PHA material having the vinyl-terminated side-chain. The process further includes chemically reacting the PHA material having the hydroxyl-terminated side-chain with 1,4-phenylenedimethanethiol or a chlorocoumarin or 2-furoyl chloride to form a side-chain-functionalized PHA material having a side-chain with a terminal cross-linkable group (e.g., thiol, coumarin, or furoyl group).

摘要: A method of forming an interconnect that includes providing a sacrificial trace structure using an additive forming method. The sacrificial trace structure having a geometry for the interconnect. The method continuous with forming a continuous seed metal layer on the sacrificial trace structure; and removing the sacrificial trace structure, wherein the continuous seed metal layer remains. An interconnect metal layer may be formed on the continuous seed layer. A dielectric material may then be formed on the interconnect metal layer to encapsulate a majority of the interconnect metal layer, wherein ends of the interconnect metal layer are exposed through one surface of the dielectric material to provide an interconnect extending into a dielectric material.

摘要: Enhanced traceability of cables is provided using illumination. An embodiment comprises introducing a chemiluminescent (alternatively, flourescent) solution into a chamber coupled to at least a portion of an insulating jacket that surrounds a transmission medium, the chamber being initially hollow and, in at least a portion thereof, comprised of a substance through which light is viewable, such that upon introduction of the solution, light emitted by the solution is viewable through at least a portion of the chamber. In another embodiment, a first and second compartment contain a first and second substance, respectively, and are physically separated by a separator material. The separator material, when triggered to open, forms an opening between the compartments that allows the substances to mix, the substances being chosen as providing a chemiluminescent reaction upon the mixing, such that light emitted by the chemiluminescent reaction is viewable.
