Abstract:
A communication control method in a mobile communication system having a first base station and a second base station having a smaller coverage area than the first base station, comprises: a step A of transmitting information indicating interference in uplink detected by the second base station, from the second base station to the first base station; a step B of performing processing by the first base station and/or the second base station to change a radio environment around the boundary of a coverage area of the second base station; and a step C of identifying an interfering user terminal in the uplink by the first base station, from first user terminals being connected with the first base station, based on radio environment information reported by the first user terminals.
Abstract:
A radio terminal UE according to one embodiment includes a radio communication unit 210 configured to receive a plurality of parameters including a first parameter for high-speed movement and a second parameter for non-high-speed movement as parameters for processing for switching to a neighboring base station from a base station connected to the radio terminal, and a controller 260 configured to acquire movement speed information indicating a movement speed of the radio terminal and to select a parameter corresponding to the movement speed information. The first parameter is configured to inhibit processing for switching to a Pico base station PeNB which is included in the neighboring base stations.
Abstract:
A radio measurement collection method using UE configured to perform a process of retaining a measurement log including a measurement result of a radio environment according to a measurement configuration set by a measurement configuration message received from a network includes a step S109 in which the network transmits a UEInformationRequest message to request a transmission of the measurement log to the UE, and a step S110 in which the UE transmits a UEInformationResponse message to transmit the measurement log to the network. In step S110, the UE transmits the UEInformationResponse message to the network even when the measurement log is not retained.
Abstract:
A communication control method applied to a mobile communication system including a user terminal capable of storing an MDT measurement log related to a radio environment measured based on an instruction from a network and a connection establishment failure log related to a failure of RRC connection establishment procedure with the network, the method includes the steps of: reserving a dedicated memory area for storing the connection establishment failure log, by the user terminal; and storing the connection establishment failure log in the dedicated memory area reserved in the reserving step, by the user terminal.
Abstract:
A user terminal includes: a transmitter that transmits a measurement report including a measurement result of radio environments, to a base station; a receiver that receives request information requesting the user terminal to make detailed location information available using GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System), from the base station; and a controller that attempts to make the detailed location information available so as to include the detailed location information in the measurement report, in a case where the receiver receives the request information.
Abstract:
A user terminal employed in a mobile communication system including a general cell supporting PTM distribution of MBMS data and a specific cell not supporting PTM distribution of the MBMS data, the user terminal receives a connection establishment message for establishing a connection between the user terminal and the general cell from the general cell when the user terminal is in an idle mode with the general cell selected as a serving cell. The user terminal sends an establishment completion message indicating completion of establishment of the connection in response to the connection establishment message received from the general cell. The user terminal sends the general cell a proximity notification that the specific cell exists near the user terminal if the specific cell exists, together with the establishment completion message.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system including an MBMS cell supporting PTM transmission of MBMS data and a non-MBMS cell not supporting PTM transmission of the MBMS data, includes a user terminal that establishes a connection with the non-MBMS cell. The user terminal transmits an MBMS interest notification indicating that the user terminal desires to receive the MBMS data, to the non-MBMS cell.
Abstract:
A communication control method is used in a mobile communication system that supports MDT (minimization of drive test). The communication control method has: a step (A) wherein a user terminal, which has established a connection with abase station, location information indicating the location of the user terminal to the base station based on an instruction from the base station; and a step (B) wherein the base station receiving the location information from the user terminal measures the throughput of communication with the user terminal.
Abstract:
A user equipment, apparatus and method for a user equipment includes receiving, from a network, configuration information indicating whether transmission of a specific uplink signal is possible when the user equipment is in a specific state where an RRC connection of the user equipment is suspended. The specific uplink signal is an uplink signal that the user equipment can transmit when the user equipment is in an RRC connected state. A determination is made, based on the configuration information, whether to transmit the specific uplink signal when the user equipment is in the specific state.
Abstract:
A mobile communication system includes a base station that configures a plurality of cells. The plurality of cells include D2D supporting cell that supports D2D communication in which data communication is directly performed between terminals and D2D non-supporting cell that does not support the D2D communication. The base station transmits D2D information indicating that the D2D communication is permitted in the base station. Based on a measurement report received from a user equipment, the base station is further configured to perform handover of the user equipment from the D2D non-supporting cell to the D2D supporting cell, after receiving notification information from the user equipment indicating an interest in performing the D2D communication by the user terminal.
