摘要: A wheel suspension for a motor vehicle having a vehicle chassis comprises a wheel carrier having a journal for the support of a wheel for rotation independently of the wheel carrier, and first and second arms for supporting the wheel carrier to the vehicle chassis and extending in spaced relation to each other with the space therebetween gradually increasing as they extend outwardly from the wheel carrier towards the vehicle chassis. The wheel suspension further comprises a connecting member for elastically connecting the wheel carrier to the vehicle chassis for the displacement in a direction generally perpendicular to the widthwise direction of the vehicle chassis, and a shock absorber for absorbing vibration of the wheel carrier. The journal extends outwardly from the wheel carrier at a position spaced a smaller distance from the joint of the first arm to the wheel carrier than from the joint of the second arm to the wheel carrier.

摘要: A communication device includes: a signal reception circuit to receive a differential signal and convert the differential signal into binary data; a squelch detection circuit to compare an amplitude level of the differential signal with threshold voltages to detect presence or absence of a signal and detect a non-squelch state and a squelch state; a start pattern detection circuit to enter a receivable state in response to a predetermined start pattern based on the differential signal; a register that stores a squelch setting value associated with the threshold voltages; a DC voltage selection circuit to select two DC voltages in accordance with the squelch setting value, and supply the two DC voltages to the squelch detection circuit; and a squelch setting control circuit to change the squelch setting value to increase or decrease the squelch setting value in steps and sequentially set the squelch setting value in the register.

摘要: A communication apparatus includes: a controller that controls processing to perform facsimile; a first controlling unit that controls a voltage between lines that perform facsimile in accordance with control by the controller; a detector that detects a voltage change between the lines; and second controlling unit that discharges electric charge accumulated in between the lines so as to enable the detector to detect a voltage change between the lines when the first controlling unit is turned off. The controller determining whether connection to the lines is made based on the voltage change detected by detector.

摘要: A print controlling device includes an acquiring unit, a dividing unit, a first determining unit, and a print data generating unit. The acquiring unit acquires data representing an original image larger than a recording sheet. The dividing unit divides the original image data into image data that represent divisional images having a same size as the recording sheet. A border side has a partition line segments defined between image and margin regions of the divisional image. The original image consists of image regions of the divisional images. The image region represents part of the original image and has a colorant area to be printed with a colorant. The first determining unit determines, if the colorant area abuts a border side, whether a partition line segment abuts the colorant area based on the divisional image data. The print data generating unit generates print data by modifying the divisiona image data
