摘要： The present invention relates to a method for reinforcing a structure comprising the steps of forming a primer layer on the surface of a structure to be reinforced; forming if necessary a putty layer on the primer layer; applying an impregnating resin on the formed primer layer provided that the putty layer in case where the putty layer is formed on the primer layer, before, after or before and after cladding with the fiber sheets, to allow the resin to penetrate into the spaces in the fiber sheets; and curing the resin,the said primer, putty and impregnating resin comprising a resin composition which can cure at a temperature not more than 5.degree. C.

摘要： An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes an image forming unit to form a developer image on an image carrier, a transfer unit to transfer a developer image on an image receiving medium, a conveyor belt provided in contact with the transfer unit to carry and convey the image receiving medium with a developer image transferred by the transfer unit and a voltage applying portion to apply voltage to the transfer unit. This image forming apparatus further includes a controller to control voltage to be applied by the voltage applying portion to at least either one of the leading edge portion and the trailing edge portion of the image receiving medium in the direction conveyed by the conveyor belt so that it becomes higher than voltage to be applied to the middle portion in the conveying direction of the image receiving medium.

摘要： To accurately read optical information more than an opening diameter of a read opening without the read opening contacted with a reading object, in a reader for reading a bar code by irradiating light from a light source to a bar-code label, converging the reflected light through a mirror and a stop by a lens and focusing the converged light on a line image sensor with a shutter, a wavelength detector for detecting a wavelength of the reflected light and a light guide for irradiating light spots indicative of a readable range to the label are provided. Whether a reading state is in a contact reading state in which a read opening contacts the label or in a noncontact reading state in which the read opening separates from the label is determined based on a wavelength of the reflected light detected by the wavelength detector. A light emission quantity and a shutter speed are controlled so as to keep an incident light quantity to the image sensor at an optimum value on a basis of the decided result and reflected light intensity obtained by integrating a line sensor output.

摘要： A charging device in an image forming apparatus is provided with an image carrier such as a photosensitive drum or image forming medium on which an electrostatic latent image is developed. The charging device has a brush roller for charging the carrier. The roller brush is rotatably mounted and formed with inclined fibers planted on a shaft, the roller brush satisfying the following formulas:L.sub.2 .ltoreq.L.sub.1 -0.5L.sub.2 .gtoreq.L.sub.1 .times.0.5wherein L.sub.1 represents a length of fibers and L.sub.2 represents a thickness of the brush. The charging device further has means for removing the charges from the surface of the brush roller and means for cleaning an area where the charges are removed by the charge removing means.

摘要： A developing apparatus includes a developing roller which conveys developer on the surface thereof by the rotation in a predetermined direction. The developer conveyed thereon to develop a latent image formed on an image-holding device. A supply roller rotates keeping contact with the developing roller and by the rotation of which the developer is supplied to the developing roller. A regulating member regulates the amount of the developer to be conveyed on the surface of the developing roller. The supply roller is so disposed that the axis thereof is positioned lower than that of the developing roller while the top thereof is also positioned lower than that of the developing roller.
