Abstract:
The present invention provides vaccine compositions comprising OmpA, or antigenic fragments thereof, and related methods of active immunization against A. baumannii infection. The invention also provides antibodies and antigen-binding parts thereof that specifically bind to OmpA, and related methods of passive immunization against A. baumannii infection. The compositions and methods of the invention are useful for preventing or treating A. baumannii infections, including those caused by strains resistant to carbapenems and all other antibiotics except colistin or tigecycline, also referred to as extreme drug resistant (XDR) A. baumannii infections, and those resistant to every FDA approved antibiotic, also referred to as pan-drug resistant (PDR) A. baumannii infections.
Abstract:
An information distribution device performs a method for selectively distributing media associated with an incident to a plurality of responders assigned to the incident. The method includes receiving, at the information distribution device, an incident information bundle comprising media inputs associated with the incident. For each responder in the plurality of responders assigned to the incident, the information distribution device: determines a set of roles for the responder; selects a set of filtering templates designed based on the set of roles; applies the set of filtering templates to the information bundle to generate a responder information bundle that includes a subset of the media inputs that is customized to the set of roles for the responder; and delivers the responder information bundle to the responder.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus including an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit, an abnormal voltage detection circuit, an internal circuit and a blocking circuit is provided. The ESD protection circuit receives a plurality of input signals for preventing an abnormal high voltage damage produced by an ESD phenomenon on a path for delivering the input signals, and correspondingly outputs a plurality of voltage-dropped input signals. The input signals include a control signal set and a data signal set. The abnormal voltage detection circuit is coupled to the ESD protection circuit. The abnormal voltage detection circuit receives the voltage-dropped input signals, and produces a blocking control signal according to voltage levels of the voltage-dropped input signals. The blocking circuit is used for receiving the blocking control signal and blocking the control signal set from delivering to the internal circuit according to the blocking control signal.
Abstract:
A method and a system for implementing a video shop are provided according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The method and system can be applied in network communication field. The method includes receiving a call request sent by a user over a phone domain, putting through the user's call and keeping the user connected; providing the user with a shopping guidance and providing the user with a service associated with a selection made in accordance with the shopping guidance by the user; and receiving a purchase order made in accordance with the service by the user and providing the user with a payment service. A system for realizing a video shop is also provided according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The method and system have a sound operability, high level security and high reliability.
Abstract:
A system for automatically determining video quality receives video input from one or more surveillance cameras (16a, 16b . . . 16N), and based on the received input calculates a number of video quality metrics (40). The video quality metrics are fused together (42), and provided to decision logic (44), which determines, based on the fused video quality metrics, the video quality provided by the one or more surveillance cameras (16a, 16b . . . 16N). The determination is provided to a monitoring station (24).
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a video communication method and system, wherein, during an audio conversation between a calling party and a called party, an IMRS (Integrated Media Resource Server) plays a video to the calling party or the called party; or when a calling party initiates a video phone call request to a called party which does not support video phone call, an audio channel is established between the calling party and the called party and a video channel is established between the calling party and an IMRS, and when an audio conversation is established between the calling party and the called party, the IMRS plays video to the calling party; or when an audio conversation and a video conversation are established between a calling party and a called party, one party replaces its video with that played to the other party by the IMRS, therefore capabilities of developing new communication services are improved.
Abstract:
A magnetic end hook for a tape measure has a hook member having a mounting section extending in a first direction and a hooking section extending away from the mounting section in a second direction generally transverse to the first direction. A distinct bezel affixes to the hooking section so as to capture a magnet between the bezel and the hooking section. A magnet is disposed at least partially in a hole in the hooking section and a hole in the bezel so as to be visible from both front and rear views of the end hook. The magnet may include flanges and a fastener, such as a rivet, may secure the bezel in place. There may be a second magnet similarly situated. A tape measure and methods of assembly are also described.
Abstract:
A display panel package includes a first electronic member, a second electronic member and an electrically conductive structure for electrically connecting the first electronic member and the second electronic member. The electrically conductive structure has a plurality of bumps electrically and spacedly connected to the first electronic member, and a plurality of posts electrically connected to the second electronic member and penetrated into the bumps respectively.
Abstract:
An incandescent lamp is designed to operate at lower than the AC line voltage and includes a voltage conversion circuit for lowering the line voltage to the operating voltage of the lamp. The circuit includes an output transformer which is disposed in the screw base of the lamp, the remainder of the circuit, which is high-temperature-intolerant, being disposed outside the base and the envelope of the lamp. In a reflectorized embodiment of the lamp, the high-temperature-intolerant portion of the circuit is disposed adjacent to the mouth of the reflector envelope on the outer surface thereof and, in a non-reflectorized bulb embodiment, the high-temperature-intolerant portion is disposed between the envelope and a skirt which is connected to the base.
