Abstract:
A business object model, which reflects data that is used during a given business transaction, is utilized to generate interfaces. This business object model facilitates commercial transactions by providing consistent interfaces that are suitable for use across industries, across businesses, and across different departments within a business during a business transaction. In some operations, software creates, updates, or otherwise processes information related to a financial plan, a financials notification, a bank directory entry file and/or a direct debit mandate business object.
Abstract:
The invention relates to stents and catheter balloons having optimized coatings for eluting rapamycin as well as methods for manufacturing these coatings.
Abstract:
The present invention is related to dilatable medical products having short-term contact with the organism, as e.g. balloon catheters coated with at least one layer of at least one antiproliferative, immunosuppressive, anti-angiogenic, anti-inflammatory, fungicidal and/or anti-thrombotic agent and a transport mediator or a mixture of transport mediators, methods for coating of these coated dilatable medical products and the use of compositions for this coating.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to in vitro cultured skin tissue, and in particular to cultured skin tissue comprising exogenous genes encoding angiogenic growth factors. In some embodiments, the keratinocytes express exogenous angiopoietin-1 or a member of the VEGF family, preferably VEGF-A. In particularly preferred embodiments, the keratinocytes are incorporated into cultured skin tissue.
Abstract:
A charging device for a tube reactor has a plurality of metering chambers which can be filled with filling material, for example a catalytically coated carrier material. Each metering chamber is adjoined by a drop tube or some other filling device via which a tube of the filling device can be filled in each case. The metering chambers can each be filled via antechambers which are combined into one replaceable antechamber unit.
Abstract:
Software is disclosed that creates a way of controlling alterations to cell contents of a data flow network so they can easily be turned on and off as separate layers. These layers can then be grouped as scenarios. Scenarios allow different layers of formula changes to be easily added and removed from the model.
Abstract:
A flat lighting device includes a layer arrangement, anode and cathode contact regions. The layer arrangement includes an anode layer, a cathode layer, and an organic light-emitting layer arranged between the anode and cathode layers, the layer arrangement having a flat shape which is laterally bounded by an edge region. The anode contact regions contact the anode layer and are implemented along the edge region. The cathode contact regions contact the cathode layer and are implemented along the edge region. The flat shape has a rotational invariance toward rotation by discrete angles. The anode and cathode contact regions may be contacted from one side of the flat shape of the layer arrangement and are arranged to be laterally distributed over the edge region such that the lateral distribution of the anode and cathode contact regions is maintained upon rotation of the layer arrangement by the discrete angles.
Abstract:
The invention provides a process for reducing the amounts of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons and soot particles in the lean exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine using a particle filter, wherein the soot particles have a soot ignition temperature TZ and the particle filter is regenerated from time to time by raising the temperature of the particle filter to above the soot ignition temperature and burning the soot particles, wherein the temperature of the filter is increased to the temperature required to initiate soot ignition by burning additional fuel on the catalytic coating when the exhaust gas back pressure reaches a predetermined value. The process is characterised in that the particle filter is provided with a catalytic coating comprising a first group of components for reducing the ignition temperature of soot, said first group of components contains at least one oxygen storage component and at least one platinum group metal selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium and rhodium. In a preferred embodiment of the process the catalytic coating further comprises a second group of components for oxidising carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, said second group of components comprises at least a support material selected from the group consisting of aluminium oxide, silicon oxide, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide and zeolite and at least one platinum group metal selected from the group consisting of platinum, palladium and rhodium deposited on said support materials.
Abstract:
In an internal combustion engine with a cooling system and an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system including an EGR heat exchanger with a coolant inlet opening connected to a coolant outlet opening of the engine for receiving coolant therefrom and the engine including a coolant collecting rail mounted directly to the engine and having a coolant inlet opening connected to the EGR heat exchanger and at least one other coolant inlet opening in communication directly with at least one other coolant outlet opening of the engine.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to in vitro cultured skin substitutes, and in particular to in vitro cultured skin substitutes that have improved barrier function. In some embodiments, improved barrier function is a result of improved culture conditions, while in other embodiments, improved barrier function results from genetic modification of keratinocytes. Improved culture conditions to improve barrier function include organotypic culture in the presence of linoleic acid and/or linoleic acid at about 75% humidity. Suitable genetic modifications for improving barrier function includes transfection with a DNA construct capable of expressing GKLF.
