    摘要: Color layers of a color filter obtained by exposing a transparent substrate to light from the back side followed by development may have a defect of layer unflatness produced due to unevenness caused by contamination with foreign matters. The defect can be repaired by eliminating the defective part of the color layers to produce a blank there, optionally filling the blank with a negative photosensitive composition containing a black colorant and returning the thus modified color filter to an appropriate step in the production line. The color filter repaired is used to fablicate multi-color display devices which are by no means inferior in display qualities to those fablicated using a color filter having no defect originally.

    摘要: In a phased-array antenna apparatus of this invention, one of the transmit/receive modules of each of radiators is set in a receiving operation state in accordance with a control signal from an arithmetic processing unit. An RF reference signal from an exciter is radiated in the air from a reference antenna and received by the transmit/receive modules in the receiving operation state. Thereafter, the signals are frequency-converted by the receiver, and element data are extracted from the signals by a beam forming section. The arithmetic processing unit detects the phase and amplitude data of the reception signals from the transmit/receive modules on the basis of the element data, and compares the detected data with the past phase and amplitude data of the transmit/receive modules, thereby calculating correction data and weight data for the transmit/receive modules.

    摘要: There is provided a radar apparatus wherein a local signal having a coherent sine wave is modulated to generate a composite signal of two signals modulated by different modulation functions. The composite signal is transmitted as a transmission signal, and a reception signal associated with the transmitted signal is separated into two signal components modulated by the different modulation functions. A difference between the two signal components is found, thereby removing a reflection signal from a static clutter and extracting a signal component which has been frequency-deviated by a moving target. Thus, the moving target is displayed. The transmission frequency can be quickly changed without losing the function of detecting the moving target.
