    Abstract: Techniques are provided for reducing the delay in accumulating positioning measurements and improving positioning latency. An example method for reducing positioning measurement latency in a wireless network includes receiving assistance data including configuration information for a plurality of positioning reference signals, determining measurement gap requirements, requesting measurement gaps based on the measurement gap requirements, receiving measurement gap configuration information, determining a mobility state, and measuring or transmitting one or more positioning reference signals based at least in part on the measurement gap configuration information and the mobility state.

    Abstract: Methods and techniques are described for enhancing positioning related protocols in order to indicate when one location session is different from another location session. One or more messages provided in a location session by a location server to a user equipment (UE) may include a session indication, such as a session identifier (ID), where a different session ID is provided for each location session. The session indication may be a new session indicator provided in an initial message in a location session or an end session indicator provided in a final message in a location session. An extra message may be sent by the location server indicating that the location session has ended. A correlation ID provided by a network entity to the location server may be included in messages as the session indication, e.g., where a different correlation ID is provided for each location session.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some systems, a user equipment (UE) may support multi-subscriber identity module (SIM) operation in dual SIM dual active (DSDA) deployments. In some aspects, the UE may dynamically allocate its hardware capabilities between a first network subscription and a second network subscription based on current or predicted future network conditions. The UE may predict future network conditions based on past and/or current measurement reports of network conditions. In some aspects, a UE may determine that a first network subscription's hardware capability is better suited to perform one or more network measurements assigned to a second network subscription of the UE. The UE may perform one or more network measurements assigned to the second network subscription via the first network subscription, and then transmit the report to the network via the second network subscription.

    Abstract: A method of indicating resources for uplink-based positioning includes: determining whether a UE is within a downlink coverage area of a serving cell, for a first frequency band and a transmit power of the serving cell, and outside an uplink coverage area of the serving cell for the first frequency band and a transmit power of the UE; identifying a second frequency band supported by the UE, the second frequency band including frequencies below a lowest frequency of the first frequency band; and providing at least one PRS indication indicating at least OFDM UL-PRS resources in the second frequency band for the UE based on a determination that the UE is outside the uplink coverage area of the serving cell for the first frequency band and the transmit power of the UE.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) includes detecting, in response to a bandwidth part (BWP) switch, a first BWP of a first carrier aggregation signal and a second BWP of a second carrier aggregation signal. The first BWP of the first carrier aggregation signal and the second BWP of the second carrier aggregation signal are each within a predetermined frequency range of each other. The method also includes tuning a radio frequency (RF) channel to a center of a wideband channel including the first BWP and the second BWP.     Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to be connected to multiple wireless networks, including e.g., a 5G New Radio (NR) network and an Evolved Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN). The UE may assign one of the networks with a higher priority for connection. The UE monitors wireless signal metrics to determine if the priority assignment of the networks should be inverted. The UE may monitor the expected data throughput, e.g., determined based on the availability of carrier aggregation, the carrier aggregation order, the multiple in multiple out (MIMO) order, the available bandwidth, E-UTRAN NR—Dual connectivity (ENDC) availability, or quality metrics of wireless signals from one or both wireless networks. The UE may further dynamically select a carrier subscription as the Default Data Subscription (DDS) based on the metrics as well as whether a wireless network associated with a carrier subscription supports ENDC.
