    摘要: An improved relative humidity sensor apparatus that provides a more accurate measurement of humidity in the presence of water condensation. A series capacitive sensor includes a thin porous platinum top plate, a humidity sensitive polyimide dielectric, and two metal bottom plates on a semiconductor substrate. The two capacitors can be wired in series such that the metal bottom plates form independent, electrically driven connections. The thin top layer can form a top plate. Changes in humidity affect the humidity sensitive dielectric thereby causing changes in the capacitive value. A P-well layer and a P-plus layer can be added at the perimeter of the substrate to create a path for a parasitic capacitance caused by water condensation to connect to one or more connection nodes, thereby preventing erroneous measurements of humidity in the presence of water condensation.

A portable-unit LOX transfer connector is connected to the portable LOX container and is connectable to a main source of LOX in a primary reservoir LOX container. A portable-unit oxygen gas transfer connector is provided for transferring oxygen gas from the portable LOX container to an oxygen gas delivery device for delivering oxygen gas to a patient. An inter-unit oxygen gas transfer connector also is provided for connecting the portable apparatus to a stationary source of oxygen gas in the primary reservoir container, for transferring oxygen gas to the portable apparatus. A portable-unit primary relief valve is connected to the portable LOX container for venting oxygen gas out of the portable LOX container when pressure in the portable LOX container reaches a predetermined level.

    摘要: A marine propulsion system is configured to be preassembled prior to the attachment of a marine engine to the marine vessel. In other words, the marine engine is attached to a transom plate, a gimbal ring, and a bell housing prior to insertion of the engine into the marine vessel. The subassembly is then moved rearwardly to cause the bell housing, gimbal ring, and portion of the transom, bracket to pass through a preformed opening in the transom. Subsequently, a transom ring is attached to the transom bracket to affix the subassembly to the transom. Then a marine drive unit is attached to the bell housing.

The flow sensor has an integrated circuit substrate, such as a silicon substrate, and a region of low thermal conductivity material carried on the top surface of the integrated circuit substrate. One or more pairs of temperature sensing elements are disposed on the low thermal conductivity region together with a heating element so that a robust flow sensor can be provided at low cost. Signal conditioning circuitry is disposed on the same surface as the temperature sensing elements and connected to the sensing elements thereby further reducing costs and improving the flow sensor sensitivity.

    摘要: A two stage damping system is provided for a trim cylinder mount of a marine drive unit. The mounting bushings comprise inner and outer tubes with an elastomeric material disposed between the inner and outer tubes. The elastomeric material is structured to provide a soft rate of stiffness in response to relatively light loads, such as shifting loads, and a harder rate of stiffness in response to higher loads, such as during high thrust loads or wide open throttle operation of a marine vessel. The two rates of stiffness are provided by the appropriate placement of cavities either within the elastomeric material or between the elastomeric material and the inner or outer tubes. Alternatively, two different types of elastomeric material can be used to provide the two rates of stiffness.

    摘要: A cooling system for an out drive of a stern drive device draws water from a body of water in which a marine vessel is operated and conducts the water through a conduit to an outlet end that is configured to direct a stream of water into a space which is defined under a removably attachable cover and above a surface of a heat producing portion of the out drive. The cover contains a turbulently flowing stream of water in the space in order to more efficiently conduct the water in thermal communication with the outer surface of the heat producing portion. Return passages are provided between the cover and the surface of the out drive to allow water to return, under the influence of gravity, back to the body of water from which it was drawn.

The system includes a common top plate; a common humidity-sensitive dielectric formed under said common top plate; a first series capacitor Cx1 including a first bottom plate formed under said common humidity-sensitive dielectric opposite said common top plate; a second series capacitor Cx2 including a second bottom plate formed under said common humidity-sensitive dielectric opposite said common top plate; wherein said first series capacitor Cx1 and said second series capacitor Cx2 commonly share said dielectric and commonly share said common top plate and are arranged in a series capacitor circuit configuration within a semiconductor system. A sampling voltage source can provide a fixed voltage through said series capacitive circuit.
