    摘要: A tandem wheel assembly for a work vehicle includes a tandem wheel housing having a center opening disposed about a pivot axis and first and second wheel end openings disposed about associated first and second wheel axes that are substantially parallel with the pivot axis. A center sprocket within the tandem wheel housing is rotatable about the pivot axis. First and second wheel end assemblies include first and second wheel end shafts, sprockets and housings. The first and second wheel end sprockets are mounted to the associated shafts and are aligned to engage the center sprocket with at least one chain which transfers rotation of the center sprocket about the pivot axis to rotate the first and second wheel end sprockets about the associated first and second wheel axes. The first and second wheel end housings support the first and second wheel end shafts for relative rotation about the associated first and second wheel axes. The first wheel end housing is adjustably mounted to the tandem wheel housing to vary a first distance between the pivot axis and the first wheel axis.

    摘要: A control system for controlling engagement of a first and second transmission of an all-wheel drive (AWD) walk-behind power equipment unit such as a lawn mower. The control system may include a mechanical load balancer to split an input drive force vector into two output force vectors. These two forces act upon associated first and second connection elements coupled to the first and second transmissions, respectively. One transmission may include a resistance element selected to sequence engagement of the first and second transmissions so that both transmissions begin driving their respective wheels at or near the same time even when the wheels associated with one transmission are more heavily-loaded than the wheels associated with the other transmission.

The differential gear arrangement includes a differential housing and at least one differential output shaft. The final drive arrangement is driven by differential housing and the differential output shaft. The final drive arrangement includes a primary planetary gear assembly, a secondary planetary gear assembly, and a clutch. The primary planetary gear assembly includes a first sun gear powered by output shaft, two first planetary gears, a first ring gear positioned stationary, and a first planetary carrier fixed to a wheel drive mechanism. The secondary planetary gear assembly includes second sun gear powered by the differential housing, second planetary gear, second ring gear, and second planetary carrier fixed to the first planetary carrier. The clutch partially engages and disengages with the second ring gear, to correspondingly partially restrict and release the second ring gear.

A second planetary gear set has a first member driven by the first planetary gear set, a second member restricted from rotation and a third member. A differential assembly has a first side gear adapted to drive the first axle, a second side gear adapted to drive the second axle and a pair of pinion gears meshed with the first and second side gears. A first clutch is operable to drivingly interconnect the first member and the differential assembly. A second clutch is operable to drivingly interconnect the third member and the differential assembly.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a transfer case for transferring a driving torque of a driving unit of a motor vehicle to a first axle and a second axle of a motor vehicle. The transfer case includes a housing, an input shaft allocated to the driving unit, a first driven shaft allocated to the first axle, and a second driven shaft, which is allocated to the second axle and is offset parallel to the input shaft. The transfer case further includes an offset drive for transmitting driving torque from the input shaft to the second driven shaft, wherein the offset drive comprises a gear wheel coaxial to the input shaft or to the driven shaft. The gear wheel is rotatably mounted on a section of the housing of the transfer case.
