An intermediate device (20) interconnecting a wireless client terminal (10) and a web server (30) transforms error messages sent from the server before transmitting them to the client. Hereby, a first error status code from the server is transformed into an error description message comprising an error description text and second status code. The second status code preferably enforces display of the error description text at the client terminal. The invention is with advantage implemented in a proxy server (20) through an error information table (22) providing resource-location dependent error messages.

摘要： The invention relates a method, a system, a server and a computer program product for Multimedia Capability discovery of different user terminals 12,13. This solution avoid unnecessary use of the radio interface and is based on a network storage 18, which is accessible without registration to find out about the calling as well as the called user's multimedia capabilities during a voice call. If there is a positive capability discovery result out of this for both users, the system will send a message to each of the two user terminals 12,13 that they should notify the users e.g. by displaying an icon above a soft button. There will be no need for establishing a packet switched session, which uses a lot of radio interface signalling, until the Multimedia Service capability of both subscribers and their user terminals are investigated and responded to both user terminals and their users.

摘要： A multimedia messaging system for sending and receiving multimedia MMS messages. The MMS messages are sent to a MMS server and addressed to the recipient's MSISDN number. MMS server sends a notification to a PAP server that sends the notification as a WAP Push to the recipient mobile device telling the mobile device to retrieve the message. If the recipient mobile device is engaged in an on going or dedicated session with the Internet, the notification is sent to the recipient mobile device during the session. The recipient mobile device then initiates a HTTP GET request to retrieve the multimedia message via the voice or data channel of a PLMN. If the recipient mobile device is not engaged in an on going or dedicated session with the Internet, the notification is sent to the recipient mobile device as a WAP Push using SMS as bearer via the signaling channel of the PLMN. The recipient mobile device then initiates a HTTP GET request to retrieve the multimedia message via the voice or data channel of the PLMN.

The remote control device obtains discovery information on a first device (200c) and sends a remote access request over a multimedia service network to a home multimedia gateway (202b) in the opposite local network (202) for a connection to a second device (202c) therein. The home multimedia gateway then responds with communication parameters established for the second device in a residential gateway, and the remote control device can then order the first device to execute a multimedia session with the second device by using said communication parameters. This solution enables a remote control device visiting a local network to order a device in that network to fetch media content from a device in another home network, or vice versa.

摘要： A method and arrangement for providing updated information on the availability of multimedia options to terminal users. A first terminal (A) is initially engaged in a voice call with a second terminal (B) by using a first access admitting simultaneous multimedia communication. At least one available multimedia option is indicated based on capabilities of the first and second terminals. A change of connection is then detected from the first access to a second access not admitting simultaneous multimedia communication. In response thereto, a multimedia disabling notification is sent to the second terminal, and said at least one multimedia option is indicated as being no longer available. Preferably, the multimedia disabling notification is sent as an SMS message.
