摘要: A displacement sensor outputs displacement without delay caused by the detection period of the displacement sensor, when output of displacement is requested from outside. Displacement is detected using a phase difference between an input signal waveform and an output signal waveform. A detection time is derived by a timer when the sensor detects a displacement, and at least two previous detected displacements are stored together with detection times thereof. When output is requested from outside, the two previous displacements are extrapolated to a current displacement, based on the two previous displacements and detection times and a time at which output was requested, and the current displacement is output.

摘要: A control device controlling a vehicle's automatic transmission. The automatic transmission engages first and second friction engagement elements by fluid pressure from a pump operating using motive power from the vehicle's motor when a shift position is at a reverse traveling position, places the first friction engagement element on standby at a predetermined pressure that is higher than a stroke starting pressure by which a piston stroke is started and lower than a complete engagement pressure or engages the first friction engagement at the complete engagement pressure when the shift position is at a non-traveling position, and engages a third friction engagement element as a starting shift speed when the shift position is at a forward traveling position. When the shift position is at the forward traveling position, the first friction engagement element is placed on standby at the predetermined pressure if a vehicle speed is lower than a predetermined vehicle speed, or releases the predetermined standby pressure if the vehicle speed is equal to or higher than the predetermined vehicle speed.

摘要: A hydraulic control apparatus of an automatic transmission which can supply a hydraulic oil pressure to one or more hydraulic servos of frictional engagement elements at a failure time when a de-energized condition is attained. The apparatus includes a normally closed type first solenoid valve for generating the hydraulic oil pressure, and a normally open type second solenoid valve for outputting a first signal pressure for adjusting and controlling an oil pressure to a line pressure; a signal output device for outputting the line pressure or a modulator pressure. The line pressure is reduced to a certain pressure, as a second signal pressure at a normal time, and causes the second signal pressure not to be output at the failure time; and an oil pressure switching device switchable between a normal time position in which the hydraulic oil pressure from the first solenoid valve can be supplied to the hydraulic servo, and a failure time position in which the input line pressure is supplied to the hydraulic servo, is switched to the normal time position by the first signal pressure and second signal pressure, which are input opposed to each other, being input, and switched to the failure time position by the first signal pressure being input and the second signal pressure not being input.

摘要: In a condition of a vehicle which remains stationary or is about to stop and of a forward second speed having a clutch and a brake engaged, an N range is changed from a D range based on a shift lever operation and a forward range pressure is discharged from a manual shift valve. At this time, an orifice and a check ball are used to delay discharge of oil paths which communicate with a linear solenoid valve relative to discharge of an oil path a1 which communicates with a linear solenoid valve. Specifically, release of the brake is delayed relative to release of the clutch, so that a shift by way of a forward first speed through engagement of a one-way clutch can be prevented.

摘要: An automatic transmission including an input shaft connected to a drive source; an output shaft connected to a driving wheel; a one-way clutch; friction engagement elements which establish speeds by changing a transmission path between the input shaft and the output shaft based on the application state of the friction engagement elements and application of the one-way clutch, one of the friction engagement elements being a brake that is applied when coasting in a take-off speed. The automatic transmission also includes a controller that determines whether it is possible to initially establish the take-off speed using the one-way clutch based on a predetermined condition, and, if not possible, then the controller establishes the take-off speed by applying the brake.

摘要: The surface of a metal base is electroplated by utilizing an induction codeposition phenomenon using at least one of carbon dioxide and inert gas, an electroplating liquid containing a metal powder dispersed therein, and a surfactant in a supercritical state or a subcritical state. The concentration of the metal in the electroplating liquid is in a saturated or supersaturated state. Accordingly, the dissolution speed of the metal base can be suppressed, and, at the same time, a plating layer having a smooth surface can be formed in a short time by utilizing an induction codeposition phenomenon. The electroplating method can be applied even when the metal base is formed of a metallic thin film provided on a surface of an insulating film provided on the substrate, or even when the metal is copper, zinc, iron, nickel, or cobalt. The above constitution can provide an electroplating method which, in electroplating on the surface of a metal base, can prevent the dissolution of the metal base to realize normal electroplating even in the case of a very thin metal base.
