    摘要: A method, a receiver and computer program product for reporting at least one channel quality indicator from a receiver to a transmitter in a MIMO system are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the receiver receives one or more data streams transmitted by the transmitter wherein the data streams are processed by the transmitter using a transmission precoding matrix W prior to transmission to the receiver. The receiver estimates a preferred precoding matrix Wp which is preferred by the receiver and processes the received data streams using the transmission precoding matrix W, such that the effective channel G at the output of the signal processing module is dependent upon the transmission precoding matrix W used by the transmitter. The receiver determines a second effective channel Gp, uses it to determine the at least one channel quality indicator and transmits the determined at least one channel quality indicator to the transmitter.

    摘要: A “General Click Model” (GCM) is constructed using a Bayesian network that is inherently capable of modeling “tail queries” by building the model on multiple attribute values that are shared across queries. More specifically, the GCM learns and predicts user click behavior towards URLs displayed on a query results page returned by a search engine. Unlike conventional click modeling approaches that learn models based on individual queries, the GCM learns click models from multiple attributes, with the influence of different attribute values being measured by Bayesian inference. This provides an advantage in learning that enables the GCM to achieve improved generalization and results, especially for tail queries, than conventional click models. In addition, most conventional click models consider only position and the identity of URLs when learning the model. In contrast, the GCM considers more session-specific attributes in making a final prediction for anticipated or expected user click behaviors.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention are directed toward white light illumination systems (so called “white LEDs”) that comprise a multi-chip excitation source and a phosphor package. In a two-chip source, the two LEDs may be UV-emitting and blue emitting, or blue-emitting and green-emitting. The phosphor package is configured to emit photoluminescence in wavelengths ranging from about 440 nm to about 700 nm upon co-excitation from the first and second radiation sources. The photoluminescence emitted by the phosphors is at least 40 percent of the total power in the white light illumination, and the portion of the total power in the white light illumination contributed by the first and second radiation sources (LEDs) is less than about 60 percent. This ratio can vary in alternative embodiments, and includes 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, and 80/20, respectively. The white light illumination emitted by the system has in one embodiment a color rendering index (CRI) greater than about 90.

    摘要: A technology for growing silicon carbide single crystals by PVT (Physical Vapor Transport) and a technology for in-situ annealing the crystals after growth is finished is provided. The technology can achieve real-time dynamic control of the temperature distribution of growth chamber by regulating the position of the insulation layer on the upper part of the graphite crucible, thus controlling the temperature distribution of growth chamber in real-time during the growth process according to the needs of the technology, which helps to significantly improve the crystal quality and production yield. After growth is finished, the inert gas pressure in growth chamber is raised and the temperature gradient of the growth chamber is reduced so that in-situ annealing the silicon carbide crystals can be carried out under a small one, which helps to reduce the stress between the crystal and the crucible lid as well as that in sublimation grown crystals to reduce the breakage ratio and improve the yield ratio during the subsequent fabrication process.

This method may comprise: accelerating in an initial probing phase, increase of an OLLA scaling factor until obtaining a negative result regarding codeword selection; and fine modifying, in a fine modification phase, the scaling factor using an upturn factor and a downturn factor in response to the result regarding codeword selection so that a channel quality indication, which is modified using the scaling factor, is matched with its actual value. Compared with the prior art, the technical solution as provided in the present invention can quickly modify a CQI to match its actual value, thus this solution may effectively mitigate the CQI mismatch, improve the CQI feedback accuracy, and further enhance the cell throughput performance and frequency utilization.
