    摘要： An integrated article of footwear including a waterproofing membrane direct attached to an upper of the footwear. An outsole is further secured to the membrane and/or the upper. In one embodiment, the membrane includes a visible aesthetic bead in the footwear forefoot region, but not the heel region. The membrane may be of greater thickness in the forefoot region to provide added rigidity. A heel cradle is positioned in the footwear heel region between the upper and the outsole. The footwear provides the durability of a direct attach construction in the forefoot and the comfort and cushion of an athletic construction in the heel of the shoe. A method for constructing the footwear includes direct attaching the membrane to an upper of the shoe. Optionally, a heel cradle is disposed in the heel region of the shoe, and the outsole is secured to the heel cradle and/or upper there.

    摘要： An automatic flavor-injected blending apparatus includes a base, a processor, and a user input in signal communication with the processor. A blending spindle is rotatably affixed at an upper end to the base and is rotatable under processor control. A container support is movably affixed to the base and is movable between a lower position for placing a container thereon and an upper position closer to the spindle's upper end. A selected flavor is injectable into the container. Software is resident in the processor that is adapted to receive the flavor selection and actuate the injection. The software is further adapted to actuate the spindle rotation. Since the blending process is automated, the server can start the apparatus, step away and attend to other duties while the apparatus is functioning, and return at a later time after a timer has turned off the spindle rotator.

    摘要： Provided are new flame retardants and liquid flame retardant additive compositions of low viscosity for use in flexible polyurethane foams. The new flame retardants are the reaction product of at least one brominated aromatic diester diol with at least one alcohol-reactive agent. Preferred liquid flame retardant additive compositions are capable of minimizing visible scorching of the foam during its production. Flexible flame retardant polyurethane foams and methods for their production are also provided. The flame retardant additive compositions are formed at least from a) at least one reaction product of a brominated aromatic diester diol and an alcohol-reactive agent; b) at least one hindered amine antioxidant; and c) at least one phenolic antioxidant in which the phenolic ring is substituted by an alkanoic acid alkyl ester group in which alkanoic acid moiety has in the range of 2 to about 4 carbon atoms and the alkyl group has in the range of about 6 to about 16 carbon atoms.
