摘要: A method of non-destructive inspection of a subject body including one or more elements comprises irradiating the subject body with a neutron ray along an axis line passing through a reference point; synchronously detecting gamma rays from directions inclined at equal angles to the axis line at a plurality of measurement points disposed to have equivalent intervals radially from the axis line, respectively; measuring the detected gamma rays in a plurality of energy ranges; determining whether measured values in the respective energy ranges are beyond thresholds; determining energy ranges where all the measured values are beyond the thresholds; analyzing a type of an element from the determined energy ranges; and detecting a location of the analyzed type of the element in the subject body on the basis of the reference point, the respective measurement points, a relative position relative to a surface of the subject body, and the directions.

摘要: A method of non-destructive inspection of a subject body including an element is comprised of irradiating the subject body with a neutron ray through a first measurement point and a second measurement point; measuring an elapsed time after a first time point when a resonant neutron specific to the element passes through the first measurement point and before a second time point when a prompt gamma ray made emitted by the resonant neutron from the subject body is detected at the second measurement point; and determining a location of the element in the subject body by the first measurement point, the second measurement point, a relative position toward a surface of the subject body, and the elapsed time.

摘要: A voltage balancer device has a plurality of discharge paths. Each pair of the discharge paths correspond to each secondary battery unit. Each of a pair of the discharge paths has a resistance of a different value. Discharging the voltage of each secondary battery unit is at first performed through the discharge path of a smaller resistance value. The voltage balancer device switches the currently used discharge path to another discharge path having a large resistance value at the time the voltage of the secondary battery unit nearly equal a desired voltage.

摘要: A voltage having the positive polarity and a voltage having the negative polarity are alternately applied to a pixel between a counter electrode and a pixel electrode. A counter electrode voltage (Vcom) generating circuit or a source signal generating section is provided each of which controls effective voltages to be applied to the pixel for an identical tone so that an effective voltage having the positive polarity and an effective voltage having the negative polarity are asymmetrically applied to the pixel for all of the tones which can be displayed. The counter electrode voltage (Vcom) generating circuit or the source signal generating section shifts a counter electrode voltage Vcom-A or a source voltage by 0.3 V or more from a voltage causing the effective voltages to be symmetrically applied to the pixel.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device including a liquid crystal panel provided with plural gate lines to select a pixel and plural data lines to supply pixel data and a data driver dividing a single frame into plural fields and converting frame data into field data to supply the field data to the data line is provided. When the frame data has a tone change, the data driver performs correction to data of an odd-number field of the frame in a same direction as an increase/decrease direction of the tone change of the frame data, and performs correction to data of an even-number field of the frame in an opposite direction to the increase/decrease direction of the tone change of the frame data.

摘要: The battery pack management apparatus for managing a battery pack having a series connection of battery cells is provided with a management unit for each of unit batteries each of which includes a single battery cell or a plurality of adjacent battery cells included in said battery pack. The battery pack management apparatus includes a selection circuit selecting one of the unit batteries, and a voltage detection circuit detecting a voltage across the selected unit battery. The management unit provided for the selected unit battery is configured to perform a management process (discharge process, for example) other than detection of the voltage across the selected unit battery on the selected unit battery.
