Abstract:
A liquid processing apparatus includes a substrate retaining part that retains a substrate in a horizontal position and rotates the substrate, first and second processing liquid supply nozzles disposed to supply first and second processing liquids, respectively, to the substrate, liquid receiving cups disposed to appropriately position an upper end thereof above the substrate and to receive the first or second processing liquid that has been supplied to the substrate, a first tubular outer cup including an upper opening and disposed around the liquid receiving cup, vertically movable between a lifted position to which the first tubular outer cup is lifted so that its upper end is positioned above the liquid receiving cup, and a lowered position lower than the lifted position, and a second tubular outer cup disposed externally to the first tubular outer cup. The tubular outer cup is selected according to the kind of processing liquid.

Abstract:
A spreading head particularly for spreading one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives, of the hot-melt or cold type, comprising a body which has two or more ducts, which are all separate or of which two or more converge, each duct being connected to one or more feed channels for conveying the one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives to one or more extrusion chambers formed on the upper surface of the body; an abutment element for the one or more adhesives or mixtures of adhesives which exit from the one or more mixing chambers is associable in an upper region with the body.
Abstract:
A system for applying a two-part adhesive to a substrate includes a prime mover for providing an output torque, a first pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the first pump having an inlet and an outlet, a second pump connected to the prime mover for receiving the output torque, the second pump having an inlet and an outlet, a first compound in communication with the inlet of the first pump, a second compound in communication with the inlet of the second pump, a first accumulator in communication with the outlet of the first pump, a second accumulator in communication with the outlet of the second pump, a first manifold in communication with the outlet of the first pump, and a second manifold in communication with the outlet of the second pump. A plurality of applicators is included.
Abstract:
A system, in certain embodiments, includes a manifold including an air tube disposed about a water tube. The system also includes multiple nozzles coupled to the manifold, where each nozzle is coupled to the air tube and the water tube.
Abstract:
Sprinkling head (2) for sprinkling powder (4) on a glass plate (6). The sprinkling head comprises a frame (8) and one or more delivering devices (16) for delivering a powder to the transparent plate. The one or more delivering devices are mechanically coupled to the frame and comprise: a container (17) for containing a pigmented powder; an outlet unit (20) for delivering the power onto the transparent plate, the outlet unit comprising an opening (22) through which the powder is delivered onto the transparent plate; a vibratable feed channel (26) for feeding the powder from the container to the outlet unit when the feed channel is in a vibrational state, in which state the feed channel vibrates with respect to the frame so that the powder is sprinkled, via the opening, onto the plate, and an actuator (28) for bringing the feed channel into the vibrational state.
Abstract:
A system manages the temperature of thermoplastic material by initiating a default heating cycle in response to a sensor failure. The system may thus continue to heat the thermoplastic material according to the default heating cycle until the sensor can be repaired or replaced. A system controller implements the default heating cycle using a stored profile. That is, the controller causes a heating element to generate heat according to a default heating profile retrieved from a memory. The profile may be determined using historical heating data, user input and/or a factory setting.

Abstract:
A method and apparatus for providing adjustment of current-related dispensing parameters in an electric dispensing gun. A control circuit receives user-selected inputs corresponding to dispensing parameters of the gun and converts those inputs into digital signals. The digital signals are applied to a digitally programmable driver circuit associated with the liquid dispensing gun to control at least some of the dispensing parameters of the gun. Diagnostic information pertinent to the operation of the dispensing gun is provided to the operator for evaluation and adjustment.
Abstract:
An apparatus for forming phosphor layers on a display panel includes a base plate on which a display panel is placed. The base plate is inclined at an adjustable angle. The display panel, having a panel plate and barrier ribs formed on the panel plate is placed on the base plate. A spray unit includes a nozzle assembly for spraying a slurry containing phosphors into spaces between the barrier ribs. A charged unit for exerting electrostatic force on the phosphors is positioned adjacent to the display panel. The apparatus enables rapid formation of uniform phosphor layers on a display panel with the phosphor particles located adjacent to the surfaces of the phosphor layers.
