摘要: A power receiving unit receives power generated by power generating units via a power system. A power information acquiring unit acquires first system power information showing the proportion of power generated by each power generating unit in a first period. An intensity database stores environmental loading intensities for each power generating unit. A charge load intensity calculator calculates a charge load intensity which is a weighted sum of the environmental loading intensity corresponding to each power generating unit based on the proportion of each power generating unit in the first system power information. A charge/discharge judging unit determines to charge a storage unit in a first period when the charge load intensity is less than a reference value, and not to charge the storage unit in the other cases. A charge/discharge controller charges the storage unit in the first period when determined to charge the storage unit.

摘要: Various embodiments are provided for facilitating the operation and control of a fleet of on-site energy assets and optimizing energy dispatch across the fleet, thereby facilitating the use of the on-site energy assets instead of grid-supplied electric consumption. An example system may comprise a central platform and a plurality of on-site gateway devices configured to perform on-site asset control. An example method may comprise receiving a service availability call, performing fleet-level optimization, generating a set of site-level schedules, and causing, as a function of the site-level schedules, real-time on-site asset control. Other embodiments provide for determining a location of each grid-connected energy consumer at which to reduce grid-supplied energy consumption, determining an amount of a reduction of grid-supplied energy consumption, and transmitting a signal to each corresponding gateway device located at the determined location, the signal comprising data indicative of instructions for performing on-site energy dispatch.

摘要: A control system for an energy storage system located behind a utility meter uses a unique, feedback-based, communication and control method to reliably and efficiently maximize economic return of the energy storage system. Operating parameters for the energy storage system are calculated at an external, centralized data center, and are selected to prevent electrical power demand of an electric load location from exceeding a specified set-point by discharging energy storage devices, such as DC batteries, through a bidirectional energy converter during peak demand events. The control system can operate autonomously in the case of a communications failure.
