摘要: Methods and arrangements for managing electricity generation in a distributed electricity generation system. A plurality of data inputs are received comprising: a sensed state of a power grid; a sensed state of local energy storage; and a sensed demand of a local electricity load. The data inputs are combined, and, based on the combined data inputs, there is determined a destination of electricity that is generated in the distributed electricity generation system. The at least one destination is selected from the group consisting of: a local electricity load, the power grid, and the local energy storage. Other variants and embodiments are broadly contemplated herein.

摘要: A combined electrical power plant is provided to supply power to a grid and a method to operate such a combined electrical power plant comprising a thermal power generation facility and an energy storage facility with a suitable energy storage capacity being able to supply additional electrical power to the grid and to receive and store electrical power from the thermal power generation facility or from the grid. Both facilities are electrically coupled to providing a combined power output to the grid and further comprise a plant controller to process the demand signal and to generate at least a first control signal and a second control signal from the demand signal, where the first control signal is a smoothened function of time of the demand signal resulting from a smoothening process executed by the plant controller taking into account operational characteristics of the thermal power generation facility.

摘要: A computer-implemented method includes linking a plurality of load distribution points in a power distribution unit to a plurality of electrical loads in response to user input, receiving data indicative of one or more electrical parameters associated with the plurality of load distribution points, selecting a visual indicator from a group of indicators based on the one or more electrical parameters associated with the load distribution point for each of the plurality of load distribution points, and displaying the selected visual indicators for the plurality of load distribution points on a visual display for viewing by a user. Each of the electrical loads are electrically coupled to one or more of the plurality of load distribution points. Example computer systems and non-transitory computer readable medium including computer executable instructions for performing one or more computer-implemented methods are also disclosed.

摘要: A power transmission system includes a plurality of electrical substations and a plurality of transmission lines arranged to connect the plurality of electrical substations to form a power transmission network; and a controller system arranged to control a power transmission within the power transmission network. The controller system includes: a detection module arranged to detect an occurrence of a fault in at least one faulty electrical substation of the plurality of electrical substations; and a restoration module arranged to at least temporally maintain an output power of the at least one faulty electrical substation; and wherein at least one of the plurality of electrical substations is operable to facilitate maintaining of the output of the at least one faulty electrical substation upon the detection of the occurrence of the fault.

摘要: The apparatuses and methods herein facilitate generation of energy-related revenue for an energy customer of an electricity supplier, for a system that includes an energy storage asset. The apparatuses and methods herein can be used to generate operating schedules for a controller of the energy storage asset. When implemented, the generated operating schedules facilitates derivation of the energy-related revenue, over a time period T, associated with operation of the at least one energy storage asset according to the generated operating schedule. The energy-related revenue available to the energy customer over the time period T is based at least in part on a wholesale electricity market.

This control device (A) is provided with: an acquisition unit (A1) that acquires information that relates to power supply/demand adjustment devices and that is indicated for each power supply/demand adjustment device and information indicating characteristics of the power supply/demand adjustment processing; and a reporting unit (A2) that, on the basis of the information that relates to the power supply/demand adjustment devices and information that indicates characteristics of the power supply/demand adjustment processing, reports an actuation of the power supply/demand adjustment processing to power supply/demand adjustment devices that are to be used for the power supply/demand adjustment processing.

摘要: Provided is a frequency regulation method for regulating a frequency of a power system so that the frequency approximates to a rated frequency, the method including: measuring the frequency; obtaining an SOC (state of charge) of a storage battery; determining a base-point of power to be charged in or discharged from the storage battery when the measured frequency is equal to a predetermined rated frequency; determining a control variable changed from the base-point by an amount corresponding to a frequency deviation that is a difference between the predetermined rated frequency and the measured frequency; and charging or discharging the storage battery based on the control variable, wherein in the determining a base-point, a third rate of change is smaller than a first rate of change and a second rate of change that are average rates of change in the base-point with respect to the SOC when the SOC is within a first range and a second range, respectively.

The vehicle-to-grid controller causes each vehicle from the second vehicle group to supply electrical power to the power grid at a nominal frequency and at an adjusted amplitude, and causes each vehicle from the first vehicle group to supply electrical power to the power grid at an adjusted frequency that is different than the nominal frequency and at a nominal amplitude that is different than the adjusted amplitude.
