    Abstract: The wheel (1) comprises a rim (2) and a hub (3) between which a plurality of spokes (4) are connected. The rim has a radially recessed, cylindrical outer surface (2a-2d) with a channel-shaped cross-section and is provided with a plurality of drilled seats (6) each intended for the attachment of a respective nipple (5) for the connection of a spoke (4). Annular sealing members (13) are provided between each nipple (5) and the corresponding drilled seat (6) of the rim (2).The wheel (1) further comprises a circumferential, band-like seal (14) which is made of resilient material, is fitted on the rim (2), and extends over the recessed cylindrical surface of the rim (2) in a circumferentially stretched condition so as sealingly to cover all of the drilled seats (6).

    Abstract: A pneumatic tire comprising a skin layer which is formed by curing a polyurethane resin composition comprising a compound having active hydrogen atoms and an organic polyisocyanate compound, has an oxygen permeation coefficient at 23null C. under a relative humidity of 60% of 2.0 mlnullmm/m2nulldaynullMPa or smaller and comprises 20% by weight or more of a skeleton structure represented by formula (1) is provided. Since the tire has the skin layer formed with the polyurethane resin composition and having an excellent barrier property to gases, the weight of the tire can be decreased, durability can be improved and quiet driving can be achieved while the internal pressure is retained even when the gas filling the tire is the air, and the tire is more economical than tires filled with nitrogen gas. Unlike other tires using other materials having the barrier property to gases to decrease the weight, no adhesives are necessary for disposing the skin layer. Thus, the process can be simplified and the cost can be reduced in the production. 1
