    摘要: A cyclonic elevator tube comprising a manifold which supplies fluid under pressure via an annular transition ring with multiple, circumferentially spaced jet orifices. These orifices are set at inwardly and circumferentially directed compound angles for ejecting vortex jets of pressurized fluid through the elevator, to ultimately cause transportation of fluid material through the tubes. This apparatus comprises: a cylindrical chamber; a plurality of helically shaped venturi tubes spaced around the internal circumference of the chamber; a manifold connected to the inlet ends of the venturi tubes; and a high pressure gas supply connected to the manifold. The helix can be right or left handed and preferably the venturi tubes extend for less than one turn of the helix. The angle that the tangent of the helix makes with the longitudinal axis of the chamber is between 1° and 89°. The internal circumference of the chamber may be larger at the inlet end than at the outlet end.

    摘要: The invention relates to a fluid pump, in particular liquid pump, with a rotor, with a rotor shaft (11) and with at least one rotor blade for delivering the fluid, wherein the rotor with regard to its diameter may be changed between a first, compressed condition, and a second expanded condition, wherein the at least one rotor blade comprises at least two erection elements (12, 13, 14) which are distanced to one another along the longitudinal axis (18) of the rotor shaft (11) and which project away from the shaft in the expanded condition of the rotor, as well as at least two limp rib elements (25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30) which run at a distance to one another from one erection element (12, 13, 14) at least up to a further erection element, wherein a limp membrane (10) is held between the rib elements, which is tautened in the expanded condition of the rotor. A good compressibility of the rotor with low counter-forces, as well as a simple setting-up of the rotor may be achieved by the membrane-like design of the rotor blades. The membrane may for example be manufactured with the immersion method.

    摘要: A system and method is provided in which a turbocharger includes a heat shield wall that is formed together with the bearing housing as a unitary structure. The wall can extend from a main body portion of the bearing housing in a generally radially outward direction. The wall can be spaced from the main body and attached by a plurality of ribs such that chambers are defined therebetween. A circumferential passage can extend through the bearing housing to permit fluid communication between the chambers and outside of the bearing housing. In this way, a fluid outlet from the chambers is provided. As a result of such an arrangement, the need for a separate heat shield is eliminated, which can facilitate the assembly process and special attachment methods associated with a separate heat shield.

An example of an electrical submersible pump system includes a pump, a pump motor, and a seal section. The motor drives the pump via motor and driven shafts rotatingly coupled with a coupling assembly. The coupling assembly maintains the shaft ends in coaxial alignment with an alignment device. The alignment device is profiled on opposite ends for mating engagement with the centering guides extending from the shaft ends.
