摘要： Disclosed is a capsule apparatus having a filter housing defining a filter chamber with a top cap having a plurality of ports extending substantially laterally from a top end of the top cap. The lateral and substantially uniform orientation of the ports facilitates connection to panel mount assemblies and improves filter maintenance processes. A transfer tube extending the length of the capsule allows the introduction of heated fluids from a top mounted inlet port to a bottom of the capsule chamber to allow or a substantially uniform heat gradient in the capsule filter chamber. A dispersion ring or dispersion plate may be secured to a distal end of the transfer tube to promote uniform dispersion of liquids and/or gases introduced into the capsule apparatus. An alternative shield secured in the housing defines a first chamber in fluid communication with an inlet and a second chamber wherein the two chambers are in fluid communication via an opening defined by a lower end of the shield and a bottom of the filter chamber. An alternative capsule apparatus has an outlet tube extending downwardly from a top mounted outlet port in fluid communication with an enclosed filter membrane secured below a column of loose filter media.

The filter may be a high pressure filter used in semiconductor manufacturing. In various embodiments, the filter includes a housing with an angled end and a filter element disposed inside the housing. The filter further includes a fluid fitting with an angled side. The angled side of the fitting has a different angle than the angled end of the housing. The filter also includes a compression collar fitted over the housing to compress the housing and the fitting. The result is a filter that may be used as a high-pressure fluid restrictor. The filter uses only mechanical seals to provide leak-proof highly filtered fluids in which impurities, contaminants and particulates are removed.

摘要： The invention features a filtration segment having a top seal, a bottom seal and a primary filter core and the method of filtering with the design of the filtration segment. The primary filter core is operatively coupled to at least one opening which is located either on the top seal or on the bottom seal. The filtration segment also includes one or more interior filters surrounding the primary filter core. Each interior filter includes a filter material surrounding a secondary core which is operatively coupled to at least one opening which is located either on the top seal or on the bottom seal. Each filter may optionally include a retaining medium enclosing the filter material. The filtration segment has one or more layers of an exterior filter media which operatively surround the interior filters and are operatively coupled to the top seal and the bottom seal.

摘要： A fluid filter comprising a housing, a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet, a filter element separating a raw side and a clean side from one another, and a valve unit. The valve unit comprises a valve plate arranged concentrically in the housing and having the shape of a circular ring disc, having valve openings and a flexible circular-ring-disc-shaped valve membrane arranged on the valve plate. The filter element comprises an axially protruding pressure-exerting ring shaped as a circumferential annular collar on the end face thereof facing the valve unit when installed. When installed in the housing, the filter element, with an end face of the pressure-exerting ring, presses the valve membrane axially onto the valve plate. The valve membrane, with the membrane region thereof pressed by the pressure-exerting ring onto the valve plate, forms a seal separating the raw side from the clean side of the fluid filter.
