Abstract: A monitoring device of a main spindle rotation speed in a machine tool displays a variation state of the rotation speed by a rotation speed variation unit using a display unit in the machine tool. The monitoring device includes a drawing unit, a variation position display unit, and a reduction effect index display unit. The drawing unit is configured to display a variation diagram that illustrates a relationship between a variation amplitude and a variation cycle of the rotation speed. The reduction effect index display unit is configured to display a reduction effect index on the variation diagram. The reduction effect index represents a reduction effect of chatter vibration. The reduction effect index is calculated based on a speed ratio that is a ratio of a rotation speed of one rotation before to a rotation speed at an identical rotation position of the main spindle at any given timing.

Abstract: A velocity indication system of a vehicle includes one or more velocity sensors configured to sense a vehicle velocity and to generate velocity data therefrom. The system also includes a control unit configured to receive the velocity data and to generate a control signal based on the velocity data. The system also includes a tactile velocity indicator. The tactile velocity indicator includes a frame that defines an opening therein. The tactile velocity indicator also includes a haptic element, at least partially protruding from the opening so as to be touchable by a passenger of the vehicle via the opening. The tactile velocity indicator also includes an electric motor configured to drive the haptic element in response to the control signal to move relative to the frame according to a haptic element velocity that corresponds to the sensed vehicle velocity.

Abstract: A computerized method performed by logic processing on a first network device is disclosed. The computerized method includes operations performed by a logic of a first network device includes detecting movement of the first network at a speed above a predetermined threshold and presence of a wireless transceiver, transmitting a message to the wireless transceiver that includes instructions for the wireless transceiver to perform a plurality of scans for additional network devices, receiving a set of lists corresponding to scans performed by the wireless transceiver, each of the set of lists indicating a first group of network devices detected by the wireless transceiver, determining a subset of the first set of the detected network devices present on each list of the set of lists, and responsive to the subset of the first set of the detected network devices exceeding a policy threshold limit, transmitting an alert.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to processing remotely captured sensor data. A computing platform having at least one processor, a communication interface, and memory may receive, via the communication interface, from a user computing device, sensor data captured by the user computing device using one or more sensors built into the user computing device. Subsequently, the computing platform may analyze the sensor data received from the user computing device by executing one or more data processing modules. Then, the computing platform may generate trip record data based on analyzing the sensor data received from the user computing device and may store the trip record data in a trip record database. In addition, the computing platform may generate user record data based on analyzing the sensor data received from the user computing device and may store the user record data in a user record database.
