    摘要: A circuit and method are disclosed for detecting activation of a switch, such as a mechanical switch, having a first terminal coupled to two or more voltage sources, with each voltage source providing a distinct voltage level representing a logic high level. The circuit includes first circuitry, having an output coupled to the switch for initially placing a first voltage across the switch representative of a logic low level. The circuit further includes second circuitry having an input coupled to the switch for sensing a voltage differential appearing across the switch and an output for indicating whether the voltage appearing across the switch is at any voltage representative of the logic high level, the second circuitry being controlled to selectively eliminate static current drawn by the circuit based upon the value of the output of the second circuitry.

    摘要: An arrangement for use in providing power to an electrical device includes an inverter, a first switch, a second switch, and a bypass controller. The first switch has an open position and a closed position, and is operably coupled to connect the inverter to the electrical device when the first switch is in the closed position. The second switch has an open position and a closed position, and is operably coupled to connect a utility power line source to the electrical device when the second switch is in the closed position. The bypass controller is operable to cause a first transition sequence in which the first switch changes to the open position and subsequently the second switch changes to the closed position. The bypass controller is further operable to: cause continuous actuation of a first indicator when the first switch is in the closed position; cause continuous actuation of a second indicator when the second switch is in the closed position; and cause intermittent actuation of the second indicator during at least a portion of the first transition sequence.

The switch unit includes a local switching unit having a plurality of buttons each coresponding to each load which is installed in a current place, for directly selecting a load to be switching-controlled, an overall switching unit fabricated in the form of a dial, for selecting a load to be switching-controlled, an overall display unit having a number of LEDs, for displaying the switching control state of each load, an all-off switch which is slightly sunk from the surface of the switch unit, for switching all the loads entirely, and a remote controller signal receiver for receiving a remote controller signal. The switch unit further includes a FND display unit for displaying a load corresponding to the current dial position in the overall switching unit with a numerical symbol. Thus, a power source can be easily, conveniently and efficiently used and managed, to thereby provide users with a considerable power saving effect and conveniences.

    摘要: An inductive proximity switch includes a coil that is supplied with periodic transmitting current pulses. Signals which correspond to voltages induced in the coil after the end of a transmitting current pulse by the decaying current which previously flows in the detected body due to the voltage induced therein by the transmitting current pulse are then processed. The coil is supplied with transmitting current pulses whose direction alternates periodically. The current flow pattern is such that in the first half of a period of the current supplied to the coil, the transmitting current delivered to the coil flows in a first direction and substantially only during a first interval which is shorter than one half of the period of the transmitted pulses. The transmitted current subsequently decays during a time interval and is negligibly small during the remaining time of the first half of the period. In the second half of the period, the transmitting current delivered to the coil flows in a direction opposite to the first one and substantially only during a second interval which is shorter than one half of the period of the transmitted pulses. The transmitted current subsequently decays during a time interval, and is negligibly small during the remaining time of the second half of the period.

The controllable switch elements together with the conductor arrangement produce switched electrical connection paths between at least two inputs and an output. The electrical connection paths contain connecting branches that, proceeding from the at least two inputs and the output, meet at a junction point. The connecting branches connected to the at least two inputs have identical electrical lengths up to the junction point.
