摘要: An interconnection structure includes: a dielectric layer; a first metallization pattern on the dielectric layer, the first metallization pattern including at least one etch stop having a perimeter defining at least one etch stop opening; a cured adhesive on a portion of the dielectric layer, the adhesive not present in an area aligned with the at least one etch stop; and at least one electrical device being attached to the dielectric layer by the adhesive such that an active area of the at least one electrical device is aligned with the etch stop perimeter. The active area of the at least one electrical device may further be aligned with at least one predetermined area defined by an optional additional portion of cured adhesive, the additional portion of the cured adhesive being adhesively attached to the dielectric layer and not adhesively attached to the at least one electrical device.

摘要: A switch unit allows a user to perform an on-and-off switching control of a load which is installed in a certain place without having the user move to the load position and confirm the control status of the load. The switch unit includes a local switching unit having a plurality of buttons each coresponding to each load which is installed in a current place, for directly selecting a load to be switching-controlled, an overall switching unit fabricated in the form of a dial, for selecting a load to be switching-controlled, an overall display unit having a number of LEDs, for displaying the switching control state of each load, an all-off switch which is slightly sunk from the surface of the switch unit, for switching all the loads entirely, and a remote controller signal receiver for receiving a remote controller signal. The switch unit further includes a FND display unit for displaying a load corresponding to the current dial position in the overall switching unit with a numerical symbol. Thus, a power source can be easily, conveniently and efficiently used and managed, to thereby provide users with a considerable power saving effect and conveniences.

摘要: A digital circuit interrupter includes a microprocessor programmed for tailored overcurrent protection to industrial power systems containing a plurality of electric motors as well as motor protective relays. A communication link permits the overcurrent set points to be selectively set within the microprocessor memory from a remote location. The tailored overcurrent motor trip parameters are then derived by means of a logarithmic interpolation algorithm which resides in the microprocessor memory.

摘要: Electrical equipment, such as telephone station apparatus, exposed to occasional, destructively high, voltage surges (e.g., lightning strikes), is protected by a device placed in parallel with the equipment, including two metal electrodes and an insulating housing. The electrodes define a fixed narrow spark gap which breaks down (arcs over) to short the voltage surge to ground. The width of the spark gap is critical, since it determines the protective breakdown voltage. In the disclosed devices the gap is closely defined although tolerances on the piece parts from which the device is made may be loose. At least one electrode consists of a flanged support member soldered to an electrode cap. The piece parts are assembled with the electrode faces in contact and raised to the soldering temperature. The gap forms as the temperature is reduced from the liquidus temperature of the soldering alloy to ambient temperature because of differential contraction between the insulator material and the metal parts.

摘要: An electric on-off switch which may optionally include a thermal trip including a bimetal strip.The switch comprises a housing having therein a stationary contact which is engageable by a movable contact carried by a contact spring. The spring is actuated by a mechanism including a tiltable operating lever which carries a release lever. An operating cam is provided on the release lever for depressing the contact spring and causing the movable contact to engage the stationary contact.When the switch includes a directly or indirectly heated bimetal strip, the release lever is pivotally carried by the operating lever which carries a torsion spring. The torsion spring biases the release lever into contact with a set screw secured to the bimetal strip and also urges the cam into contact with the contact spring. A pivotally mounted, elongate lever is preferably disposed between the set screw and the release lever. When the switch is tripped due to excess current the bimetal strip bows and displaces the cam from the contact spring and thereby allows the contacts to separate.The switch may be provided with a U-shaped mounting frame which can be oriented to one of two different positions. Also two or more switches may be ganged together and held together by a U-shaped bracket. A common rocker may be connected to the operating levers of the switches.

摘要: In an electric arc extinguishing apparatus, two electrodes are provided for initiation of the electric arc. Two conductors, each respectively connected to one of the electrodes, conduct the electric arc at high velocity under the influence of a magnetic field generated by the current of the arc itself. Movement of the arc along the conductors inserts a continuous electrical impedance in series with the arc. The two conductors are located in a winding channel formed in an arc resistant electrically insulating material such that the adjacent succeeding turns of the conductors are separated by the insulating walls of the channel. The winding channel emerges at one end into an annular channel containing an annular contact gap between the ends of both said conductors.

摘要: The invention provides a proportional directional control valve having a valve operating mechanism that permits communication between a first and a second channel through a linear motion of a valve element of the valve operating mechanism, a magnetic assembly operatively connected to the valve element where the magnetic assembly provides a magnetic field responsive to the linear motion of the valve element, a linear Hall-effect sensor assembly configured to generate an electrical signal responsive to a change in the magnetic field, and a control system that controls the linear movement of the valve element in response to a comparison of the electrical signal and a command electrical input signal. The valve operating mechanism includes a valve assembly configured with a chamber housing the valve element. The linear motion of the valve element within the chamber allows fluid to be selectively conveyed through channels of the valve assembly.

摘要: A pulse generator is provided for energizing a coil with period bipolar current pulses for the purposes of airborne prospecting. The pulses have a generally square waveform, and the pulse generator includes a resonant DC to AC converter circuit including a DC input and an output coupled to the coil. A control circuit is provided for controlling the switching of the converter, and a resonant capacitor is connected in parallel across the DC input. A decoupling diode is provide for decoupling the resonant capacitor from the DC input when the voltage across the resonant capacitor exceeds that of the DC input. The converter includes first and second resonant charging sub-circuits, first and second resonant discharging sub-circuits, first and second freewheeling sub-circuits and first and second exponential charging sub-circuits. The control circuit is arranged to control the amplitude and frequency content of the square waveform by switching the convertor circuit to operate between the above sub-circuit types in at least one controlled switching cycle during unipolar current pulse intervals. The circuit further includes a clamping circuit arranged to supply a substantially constant DC voltage to the coil which is higher than that of the DC input.

摘要: A low energy fuse, comprising a plastic tube with a channel, the channel containing a reactive material able upon ignition to sustain a shock wave within the channel, the tube comprising at least two layers of plastic materials, a first plastic layer closer to the channel and a second plastic layer outside the first layer, at least the second layer containing a major amount of draw orientable polymer resin. The polymer in the second layer is axially oriented to an orientation degree (as defined) of more than 25% and less than 90% and that the polymer of the first layer has an axial orientation degree not exceeding 10% orientation degree units more than that of the second layer. The tube can be manufactured by a) forming, by extrusion of the first layer plastic, the first layer in the form of a tube, b) introducing the reactive material in the tube channel, c) limiting stretching of the first layer to give a low degree of orientation, not exceeding 10% (as defined), d) forming, by extrusion of the second layer plastic, the second layer around the first tube, while the first layer have said low degree of orientation, and e) cold-stretching the first and second layers together.
