Abstract: A machine can include an electric powertrain configured for electrical power and which includes a transmission. The transmission may be operatively associated with a hydraulic system that includes a hydraulic pump and a pressure relief valve disposed between the pump and the transmission. To reduce noise generated by the pressure relief valve, operation of the pressure relief valve may be regulated according to a pump function that relates operation of the pressure relief valve with a sensed pump operation associated with the hydraulic pump.

Abstract: Operating a hybrid power system for a machine includes combusting a direct injected gaseous hydrogen fuel in an engine operating an electrical generator, and increasing a load demand of the hybrid power system. Operating the hybrid power system further includes operating an electrical-assist compressor to supply an increased airflow into the engine based on an increased engine power demand to satisfy the increased load demand. Air-fuel equivalence ratio of the engine (so-called “lambda”) is maintained at a ratio of about 2 or greater to limit NOx emissions, and between a hydrogen fuel misfire limit and a hydrogen fuel preignition limit. Related apparatus and control logic is also disclosed.

Abstract: Machines can operate based on electricity received from a charging rail system installed along a route at a worksite. Sensors on the machines capture image data indicating locations and/or orientations of components of the charging rail system. Machine controllers of the machine, and/or a worksite controller, can monitor the integrity of the charging rail system by detecting possible faults if the locations and/or orientations of one or more components vary by more than a threshold amount from target locations and/or orientations. The machine controllers and/or the worksite controller can also initiate one or more response actions when a possible fault in the charging rail system is detected.

Abstract: A cable assembly for a work machine, includes a cable and a collet. Abstract: In some implementations, an adjustable seal includes a multi-layer strap having a first end and a second end. A first layer of the multi-layer strap comprises a non-sealing material. Abstract: A propulsion system includes an electric motor assembly having an electric motor, a driveshaft, and a disconnect clutch.
