摘要： A cable assembly for a work machine, includes a cable and a collet. The cable includes an electrically conductive core, an insulating layer covering the core; an electrically conductive shield layer covering the insulating layer over a first length of the cable, and the insulating layer is exposed over a second length of the cable. The shield layer is folded back over a fold length, and the fold length includes two layers of the shield layer. The collet includes an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve extending over a portion of the inner sleeve at an end of the collet. The two shield layers of the fold length are arranged over the inner sleeve and under the outer sleeve, the insulating layer is arranged under the inner sleeve, and the second length of the cable extends through the inner sleeve.

摘要： A covered electric wire contains a conductor and an insulation covering which covers an outer surface of the conductor. The covered electric wire has a flat portion where a cross section of the conductor intersecting an axial direction of the covered electric wire has a flat shape which has a larger length in a width direction. The insulation covering contains, in the cross section of the flat portion, plane regions which contains, at the surface thereof: a width-directional region along the width direction; and a height-directional region intersecting the width direction. The insulation covering contains a region having a rounded shape having a radius at the junction between the width-directional region and the height-directional region, and the covered electric wire satisfies a relationship of R>t between the radius R and a thickness t of the insulation covering at the plane region. The wire harness contains the covered electric wire.

The applied armor may be configured to cause the filler to apply a strong enough force on an exterior of the conductor core configured to keep the conductor core from slipping down an interior of the filler due to a gravitational force. In addition, the applied armor may be configured to cause the filler to apply a strong enough force on an interior of the armor configured to keep a combination of the conductor core and the filler from slipping down the interior of the armor due to the gravitational force.

摘要： Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.
