Abstract:
An nickel hydroxide positive electrode active material which can be made by an ultrasonic precipitation method. The nickel hydroxide active material is characterized by the composition: ##EQU1## where x, the number of water ligands surrounding each Ni cation, is between 0.05 and 0.4 and y is the charge on the anions.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for automating an invoice approval process are described herein. Rules are created which are evaluated against a set of attributes. A rules engine is automatically invoked upon receipt of a document in an electronic invoice presentment and payment system. The rules engine determines which rules are applicable to documents received and processed in the system, and applies those applicable rules in a pre-defined sequence.
Abstract:
Systems and devices for monitoring, detecting, and removing fluid build-up found at various regions along a tracheal tube of an intubated patient. The fluid management system includes pressure and flow sensors for detecting whether there is fluid at the various regions along the tracheal tube, and a means for drawing out the fluid into collection jars. The system also includes lavage features that is able to rinse different the various regions along a tracheal tube. Also disclosed are respiration insertion devices that either couple to existing tracheal tubes or incorporate tracheal tubing, where the respiration insertion body has channels and ports that contact various regions along the tracheal tube. The combination of the fluid management system and the respiration insertion devices effectively monitor and remove fluid at various locations along a tracheal tube of an intubated patient.
Abstract:
A system for estimating the location of a node in a mesh network and predicting future location of the same. Historical RSSI of nodes in a mesh network may be used to determine relative location amongst other nodes. The system may employ statistical approaches to predict future node locations.
Abstract:
A computer-implemented method for monetizing future location of users includes identifying indicator(s) retrieved from log data or an electronic declaration that indicate a possibility that a user will be at a specific location in the future; generating a probability that the user will be at the specific location in the future based on the indicator(s); and charging an advertiser a cost for an impression to which to serve a location-specific advertisement targeted to the user, the cost charged being greater when the probability is greater that the user will be at the specific location in the future. The method may be extended to targeting a group of users that expect to be at the same location at the future point in time. Monetization of future locations may depend on the quality and/or quantity of the log data and declarations of future locations and on a number of users in a group of users if monetized according to the group.
Abstract:
Example embodiments involve a system, computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and computer-implemented method for behaviorally consistent data wrangling. A local client device selects a set of raw sample data from a remote datastore. A local execution engine then applies one or more local data wrangling operations to the raw sample data. If the results of the local data wrangling operations are satisfactory, the local data wrangling operations may then be transferred to a remote data wrangling cluster. A remote execution engine being executed by the remote data wrangling cluster then applies the data wrangling operations to the larger set of raw data from which the sample raw data was obtained. As the remote execution engine and the local execution engine are of the same type, the data wrangling behavior exhibited by the local execution engine is reflected in the data wrangling behavior of the remote execution engine.

Abstract:
The present invention discloses a process for the therapeutic management of diarrhea predominant irritable bowel syndrome in humans comprising the oral administration of Bacillus coagulans SBC37-01, MTCC 5856 (containing not less than 2 billion spores) along with standard treatment of care in a specific manner.
Abstract:
In some example embodiments, a graphical user interface (GUI) is caused to be displayed on a computing device of a user. The GUI can be configured to enable the user to submit an identification of a dataset and at least one configuration parameter. The identification of the data source, the at least one configuration parameter, and the at least one wrangling parameter can be received via the GUI on the computing device. A sampling algorithm can be configured based on the at least one configuration parameter. A sample of data from the dataset can be generated using the configured sampling algorithm. At least one data wrangling operation can be performed on the sample of data based on the at least one wrangling parameter.
Abstract:
A method is used for managing cache backup and restore for continuous data replication and protection. I/O operations are quiesced at a cache module. A first snapshot of a storage object and a second snapshot of an SSD cache object are taken. The I/O operations at the cache module are unquiesced. A single backup image comprising the first snapshot and the second snapshot is created. The single backup image is sent to a first data protection appliance (DPA) and recorded in a journal.
