Abstract:
A two panel type color display device is disclosed, comprising a buffer memory storing RGB information corresponding to one frame—herein, the RGB information contains the intensity of red, green, and blue colors of (the number of vertical line pixels)×(the number of horizontal line pixels) pixels constituting one frame—; an image processor accessing the RGB information stored in the buffer memory and extracting therefrom fixed color image information corresponding to a fixed color light and a plurality of variable color image information corresponding to a plurality of variable color lights; a color-fixed panel modulating the fixed color light according to the fixed color image information and outputting the modulated fixed color light; a color-variable panel modulating the corresponding variable color lights according to the plurality of variable color image information and outputting the modulated variable color lights sequentially; a fixed color light source providing the fixed color light to the color-fixed panel; a plurality of variable color light sources providing the variable color lights to the color-variable panel; a color synthesizing part generating a synthesized signal combined the modulated fixed and variable color lights; and a projection part scanning the synthesized signal in a predetermined direction on a screen.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for cell reselection in a global system for mobile communication, the method including measuring reception powers and reception qualities of signals provided from a current serving cell and neighboring cells; finding a cell corresponding to a predetermined criterion from among the neighboring cells by comparing the measured reception powers and reception qualities of the current serving cell and the neighboring cells; and performing cell reselection to a relevant cell when the relevant cell corresponding to the predetermined criterion is found.
Abstract:
In one aspect, a NAND flash memory device is provided which includes a plurality of main blocks for storing main data, a security block for storing security data, and a plurality of redundancy blocks each for being substituted in place of a failed main block, wherein at least one of the redundancy blocks may selectively substituted in place of a failed main block and a failed security block. In an alternative aspect, the NAND flash memory device a security redundancy block for being substituted in place of the security block in the event the security block fails.
Abstract:
A telephone apparatus which allows a wired or wireless telephone subscriber to change a call forwarding telephone number at a remote location, and a call transfer method therefor. The call transfer method includes: receiving a call from an external telephone; determining whether a caller of the external telephone is a valid user; receiving a call forwarding telephone number from the caller; and outputting a call transfer request signal and the received call forwarding telephone number to a switching system.
Abstract:
A dishwasher fixing bracket apparatus may include a base bar and moving plates. The base bar has a flat top surface, and includes a slide rail on a bottom thereof to extend in a longitudinal direction. The moving plates are slidably coupled to the slide rail and are configured to change positions thereof on the base bar in the longitudinal direction of the base bar. The moving plates include a pair of outer plates and one or more inner plates. The outer plates respectively include a support strap protruding toward the corresponding distal end of the base bar. The support strap has a coupling hole through which the support strap is coupled to an external structure and is oriented toward the adjacent distal end of the base bar. The inner plates slide between the outer plates and having fixing holes through which the inner plates are coupled to the dishwasher.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of content are provided. The metadata may include a minBufferTime attribute indicating a minimum amount of initially buffered media content. A terminal may receive content from a server before playback of the content, and may buffer the content by at least the minimum amount. The metadata may include a range attribute that designates a range of a target indicated by a Uniform Resource Locator (URL). The terminal may receive bytes designated by the range attribute from the URL, and may play back the content using the received bytes.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for an adaptive Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) streaming service using metadata of media content are provided. The media content may include a sequence of one or more periods. The metadata may include a start time attribute and/or a duration attribute of each of the periods. The metadata may determine a start time of each of the periods, and a start time of each of segments included in each of the periods. A terminal may access segments included in each of the periods, may decode and render data of media content included in the segments, and may play back the media content.
Abstract:
A method includes transferring a general query message to managers of a mobility control server in response to receiving, from a router, the general query message for detecting a mobile node that requested to receive multicast data; storing, in a multicast mapping table, an address of the mobile node that requested to receive the multicast data when a membership report message of the mobile node is received from at least one of the managers and transferring the membership report message to the router; and forming a tunnel between the router and a manager that transfers the membership report message.
Abstract:
An Open Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) platform is provided. By providing remote medical services to users in the Open IPTV environment using a remote medical service providing apparatus including: an application programming interface (API) calling unit to call, when receiving a request for receiving a remote medical service from a counselor's terminal, an API of an Open Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) platform; and a service provider to provide the remote medical service to a user through the API, it is possible to provide remote medical service operators with environments where they can develop and share various remote medical to services and content.
Abstract:
An access point, a layer 2 switch, and multicast handover supporting method using the access point and the layer 2 switch are provided. According to the method of supporting multicast handover, when a mobile node is handed over from one cell to another while being provided with a multicast service in a wireless mobile communication network, the L2 switch performs multicast traffic routing in response to reception of MAC address information and multicast service source and group information from the access point. Hence, multicast traffic can be supported to be fast and seamlessly handed over within layer 2 network equipment.
