A method and a device are disclosed for visually supporting an electrophysiology catheter application in the heart, whereby electroanatomical 3D mapping data of an area of the heart to be treated which are provided during performance of the catheter application are visualized. Before the catheter application is carried out, 3D image data of the area to be treated are recorded by way of a tomographical 3D imaging method, a 3D surface profile of objects in the area to be treated is extracted from the 3D image data by segmentation and the electroanatomical 3D mapping data provided and the 3D images representing the 3D surface profile are associated with each other in the correct position and dimension relative each other and e.g. visualized in a superimposed manner during the catheter application. The disclosed method and the corresponding device allow for an improved orientation of the user who carries out an electrophysiology catheter application in the heart.

The 3D image of the target feature is converted to a first skeletal graph. The 2D image of the target feature is converted to a second skeletal graph. Graph matching of the first and second skeletal graphs is performed to obtain a rough alignment of the graphs, and the first and second skeletal graph registered.

According to the invention, one of the detent elements of the detent device is, at least in part, electrically conductive and simultaneously forms the first contact (8) of the contact device. When an airbag is fastened according to the floating horn principle, the number of required parts is further reduced and it is possible to easily and securely fix the airbag unit to the steering wheel without the use of tools.

A method and apparatus for reconstructing an image of an object using a three dimensional (3D) computerized tomographic (CT) imager having a cone beam radiation source and detector arrangement for acquiring measurement data. The source and detector arrangement is operated at a plurality of source positions along a spiral scan path so as to acquire a corresponding plurality of sets of measurement data representative of radiation attenuation caused by the object. Image reconstruction processing information required for processing of the acquired measurement data in a Radon space partitioned by plurality of vertically oriented coaxial .phi.-planes for reconstructing the image, is pre-calculated and stored in a hitlist. The stored information is pre-calculated on less that all of the .phi.-planes, but due to a symmetry that is induced in the reconstruction processing, the stored information can be used for calculating Radon data for all of the .phi.-planes that partition the Radon space. The size of the hitlist is thus reduced by a factor equal to the number of .phi.-planes for which the stored information is re-used, e.g., 360 for 1/2 degree .phi.-plane spacing and storage of reconstruction processing information for a single .phi.-plane.

The airbag module comprises an airbag, a gas generator, a gas generator support, and a visible surface facing the vehicle interior in the installed state formed by different segments of the airbag module. At least two of the segments comprise optically and/or haptically different surfaces and are mechanically connected to each other by means of mechanical interfaces such that the mechanical connection between the segments is at least partially released when triggered by opening the interfaces so that an opening is formed in the visible surface through which the airbag can exit the airbag module. All segments contributing to the formation of the opening for the airbag by opening the interfaces when triggered are thereby directly fastened to the gas generator support.
