摘要： A shaft having a magnetostrictive sensor measures torque applied to a shaft, as a shaft, without contact and utilizing reverse-magnetostrictive properties of magnetic alloys. The shaft includes a plurality of magnetic alloy layers, and the magnetosensitive torque detector is variously formed by diffusion bonding a magnetostrictive layer with a high magnetostrictive constant onto the shaft surface, by heat treating, adhesive fixation or the like bonding means. Methods for making the shaft are disclosed.

The apparatus includes a plurality of level guides disposed at spaces between each of plural spaced conveying belts of the conveyer, the level guides including top ends which rise above an upper surface level of the conveying belts while the plate is lifted and rotated by rotating device, and descend to below the upper surface level of the conveying belts when the plate is translated by the conveying belts after the rotation, so that the plate rotates to slide on the level guides.

摘要： A mass flow sensor is capable of accurately measuring a mass flow irrespective of changes in the ambient temperature. The mass flow sensor includes at least one heating resistor disposed on a portion of a sensor pipe through which a fluid to be measured flows and a housing for the sensor pipe. The heating resistor and a temperature sensitive resistance constitute a bridge circuit. The temperature sensitive resistance is disposed in the housing. The resistance of the sensor changes in accordance with the change in the temperature of the housing to thereby adjust the change in the resistance of the heating resistor. Further, an improved temperature sensitive matching resistor is suitably used in the mass flow sensor, in which a plurality of temperature sensitive resistances having equal characteristics are integrated.

摘要： An optical fiber fusion splicer includes a discharge unit for producing an electric discharge to fusion splice optical fibers and a pressure sensor for producing a pressure detection signal representing the surrounding atmospheric pressure. In response to the pressure detection signal the discharge is controlled by a control unit so that a substantially optimum discharge current for the fusion splicing is provided to the discharge unit. The discharge control unit includes an adjusting unit for producing a discharge current adjusting signal, a control signal generating unit for generating a control signal on the basis of both the pressure detection signal and the discharge current adjusting signal, and a discharge current control unit for controlling the discharge current in response to the control signal.

摘要： A programmable sequence controller wherein in accordance with a sequence program read out from a memory, a logic operation circuit tests a logical value supplied from an input converter connected to an external input element and generates an output command signal based upon the result of the test. The output command signal is stored in an output memory which has two storage addresses for each external output element, each storage address corresponding to a particular memory storage element addressed by the sequence program. A gate circuit is connected to these two memory storage elements and inhibits the application of an output command signal from one of the memory storage elements to an output converter when the gate circuit receives a logical value from the input converter. When receiving an output command signal from the other of the two memory storage elements the gate circuit then applies this signal to the output converter. Thus, an output element connected to the output converter is energized immediately in response to the operation of an input element.
