Abstract:
A vehicle headlight has a motor operated adjustable mounting for adjusting the beam of light in a plane. The adjustment device includes an ear on the headlight with an axially extendable arm, the extension of which is driven by an electric motor. Rotation of the motor causes motorized adjustment of the beam. The motor is slideably mounted in a retainer for movement parallel to the extendable arm. A manually adjustable screw adjusts the position of the motor along the slide to permit manual alignment of the headlight beam.
Abstract:
A bevel inspection module for capturing images of a substrate is provided. The module includes a rotational motor, which is attached to a substrate chuck and is configured to rotate the substrate chuck thereby allowing the substrate to revolve. The module further includes a camera and an optic enclosure, which is attached to the camera and is configured to rotate, enabling light to be directed toward the substrate. The camera is mounted from a camera mount, which is configured to enable the camera to rotate on a 180 degree plane allowing the camera to capture images of at least one of a top view, a bottom view, and a side view of the substrate. The module yet also includes a backlight arrangement, which is configured to provide illumination to the substrate, thereby enabling the camera to capture the images, which shows contrast between the substrate and a background.
Abstract:
The pneumatic tool has a check valve placed inside that includes an internal and external valve base and traveling valve. The internal valve base has an inlet hole, and an enlarged slot is formed on the external end of the inlet hole. An annular oblique edge is formed between the enlarged slot and inlet hole, and an air hole is placed on the enlarged slot. The external valve base has an outlet hole that is connected to the outside of the pneumatic tool. A protruding tube is formed inside the outlet hole. Interval space is formed between the inside of the protruding tube and the inlet hole for the internal valve base; and the traveling valve can be traveling inside the interval space. The built-in check valve can avoid external force, which extends the shelf life and makes appearance of the product look neater and practical.
Abstract:
To key an identification code of a controlling member to a code reader of a function controller for controlling a function, each controlling member is fitted with a card reader and is configured to adopt the code on the card as the identification code to be attached as the identification portion of any message imparted into a signal line. In similar fashion, each of the function controllers includes a card reader for reading a card bearing a code and the function controller is configured to adopt the code read from the card as being the identification code sought by the function controller as identifying a message as originating from its associated controlling member.
Abstract:
A sensor chip, comprising a flexible, polymer-based substrate, and at least one microfabricated sensor disposed on the substrate and including a conductive element. The at least one sensor comprises at least one of a tactile sensor and a flow sensor. Other embodiments of the present invention include sensors and/or multi-modal sensor nodes.
Abstract:
A method for etching a bevel edge of a substrate is provided. A patterned photoresist mask is formed over the etch layer. The bevel edge is cleaned comprising providing a cleaning gas comprising at least one of a CO2, CO, CxHy, H2, NH3, CxHyFz and a combination thereof, forming a cleaning plasma from the cleaning gas, and exposing the bevel edge to the cleaning plasma. Features are etched into the etch layer through the photoresist features and the photoresist mask is removed.
Abstract:
A camera has an axially moveable cylinder retaining a lens and a piezo ceramic motor for axially moving the cylinder. The motor has a piezo ceramic drive member that incrementally advances the cylinder in response to the application of an electric potential and a piezo ceramic brake that locks the cylinder against movement. The drive member and the brake are alternately energized to advance the cylinder in a series of incremental steps.
Abstract:
A microfabricated pressure sensor. The pressure sensor comprises a raised diaphragm disposed on a substrate. The diaphragm is configured to bend in response to an applied pressure difference. A strain gauge of a conductive material is coupled to a surface of the raised diaphragm and to at least one of the substrate and a piece rigidly connected to the substrate.
Abstract:
An inkjet head clean device for inkjet printer includes a main body, a pump, a first guide-tube and a second guide-tube. The main body has a tank for receiving cleansing liquid. The pump that sets in the main body has a first pipe-hole and a second pipe-hole. One end of the first guide-tube connects with the first pipe-hole of the pump and another end extends into the tank. One end of the second guide-tube connects with the second pipe-hole of the pump and another end connects with an inkjet head. By the way, the clean device of present invention can wash the inkjet head by reusing the cleansing liquid and make the inkjet head clean.
Abstract:
A grommet for sealing the wires extending through the wall of a fuel tank is formed by first removing a portion of the covering exposing th4 strands of wires within. A liquid sealing agent is applied to the strands and the strands are compressed to displace the strands. A hardener is then applied and then the strands are encapsulated in the body of the grommet.
