摘要: When a stop condition is satisfied, a stop condition determination circuit (10) issues a stop instruction to an operation stop control circuit (11) to stop the operation of a functional circuit (14). A storage device (12) stores therein determination results made by the stop condition determination circuit (10) and operation conditions in the functional circuit (14). An external conveying means (13) conveys the determination results made by the stop condition determination circuit (10) to outside the semiconductor device. If these determination results are used by a peripheral device external to the semiconductor device, it is possible to prevent failures in the peripheral device and malfunctions in the system caused by faults in the semiconductor device.

摘要: An optically-active bis(alkynylphosphino)ethane-borane derivative represented by formula (1): wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, each represent an alkyl group, a phenyl group, an alkylsilyl group or a hydrogen atom; R3 represents a branched alkyl group, an alicyclic hydrocarbon group or an aromatic hydrocarbon group; and the asterisk * indicates an optically-active site. The derivative (1) is prepared by bromination of, e.g., an (S)-t-butylmethylphosphine-borane, reaction with an alkynyl lithium, deprotonation, followed by oxidative coupling. Deprotection of the derivative (1) by deboranation gives an optically-active bis(alkynylphosphino)ethane derivative useful as a ligand providing an asymmetric catalyst for catalytic asymmetric synthesis. The asymmetric catalyst having the ligand exhibits high selectivity and catalyst activity.

摘要: An imaging apparatus includes an image optical pick-up device, first and second driving mechanisms, a shutter, and a driving current controlling mechanism. The image optical pick-up device photoelectrically converts an incident light image of a subject of a photograph. The first driving mechanism drives the image optical pick-up device and performs a rapid sweep function for rapidly draining unnecessary electric charges remaining in the image optical pick-up device. The shutter opens and closes a light passage for passing the incident light image into the image optical pick-up device. The second driving mechanism generates pulses to drive the shutter. The driving current controlling mechanism performs a control such that a first duration in which the first driving mechanism operates the rapid sweep function and as second duration in which the second driving mechanism generates a pulse for closing the shutter do not overlap under predetermined imaging environmental conditions.
