摘要: A water supply unit for an ice-making machine provided with a pair of freezing plates each presenting number of vertically extending partitions on their front sides, the freezing plates being mounted in an upright position with their rear sides facing to each other, and with a cooling coil mounted between the rear sides of the freezing plates. The water supply unit is placed on the top of the freezing plates and has an ice-making water conduit section connecting to the front surfaces of the freezing plates via water supply plates and a flushing water conduit section connecting to the rear sides of the freezing plates. The flushing water conduit section of the supply unit is received into and fitted between the upper ends of the freezing plates for securely positioning the water supply unit with respect to the freezing plates.

摘要: In a liquid fuel combustion apparatus, the upper end of a wick is ready to be ignited when it projects upward from a pan portion, and is extinguished when it is withdrawn downward from the pan portion. The wick moves up and down as a first operating lever swings around an operating shaft. If the first operating lever is lowered, a retaining lever is raised by a bent strip. When the wick is in a position for high-temperature combustion, a retaining portion of the retaining lever engages a receiving portion of an interlocking plate. When the first operating lever is lowered, its engaging pin engages an engaging slit of an adjusting lever. If a knob of a thermal power control plate is moved up and down along a slot, the adjusting lever swings around a support pin, and the first operating lever swings slightly through the engaging pin and the engaging slit. Thus, the wick is moved up and down in a combustion region for adjustment of thermal power. If an extinction lever is operated or if a movement-sensitive pendulum is activated, the retaining portion is disengaged from the receiving portion to cause the operating shaft to rock at a stroke in an extinction direction. Thus, the wick is extinguished in an instant.

摘要: Past limit electric power generation costs and past limit electric assist costs are stored as pieces of planning information, based on each of which a fuel consumption amount is estimated assuming that a vehicle travels according to a past traveling pattern. An average estimated fuel consumption amount is computed by averaging the fuel consumption amounts estimated for the pieces of planning information. The piece of planning information including the lowest average estimated fuel consumption amount is selected for the next traveling. An improvement amount during electric power generation and an improvement amount during assistance are computed based on the selected piece of planning information (limit electric power generation cost), the limit electric assist cost, and the present generating and electric assist costs required actually while the vehicle is traveling. An engine and a motor/generator of the vehicle are controlled based on the two improvement amounts.

摘要: An air-conditioner controlling device includes a first control unit and a second control unit. The first control unit changes an air-conditioner operation from a standard to an energy-saving, when a vehicle is determined to be located in a target area. The target area is defined by a predetermined interval from a target point of the vehicle. The second control unit changes the air-conditioner operation from the energy-saving to the standard, after the first control unit changes the air-conditioner operation from the standard to the energy-saving, in a case that a destination of the vehicle is estimated to be different from the target point.

摘要: In controlled cooling operation, data on the controlled cooling operation characteristics is read out from a memory and compared with a drop degree of an inside temperature actually measured by an inside temperature sensor 46, and a cooling device is operated so that the inside temperature drops following a temperature curve stored in advance. A state where the inside temperature is higher than the set temperature by 7 K or more lasts for 15 minutes, for example, the cooling capacity by the cooling device is increased than the cooling capacity based on control of a controlled operation controller so that even if a door 17 is frequently opened/closed and the inside temperature tends to gradually rise, it can be detected at an early stage and kept close to the set temperature.
