摘要： Processor and instruction conversion apparatus, including a technique for reducing the number of types of instructions and processor hardware scale when conditional instructions are used. The processor includes a stare hold unit, an obtaining unit, a decoding unit, a judging unit, and an execution unit. The judging unit judges whether a state hold unit renewal state is included in either of the state and the plurality of states specified by the first state condition in the first conditional instruction when decoded by the decoding unit. When the judgment is affirmative, the execution unit executes an operation specified by the operation code in the first conditional instruction decoded by the decoding unit. The instruction set is assigned first conditional instructions with a first state condition which is mutually exclusive with a second state condition for an unassigned second conditional instruction, both having the same operation code.

摘要： In a docking apparatus for docking a note-type personal computer including a release lever, an ejecting structure for ejecting the note-type personal computer when the release lever is opened, and a solenoid-type eject stopper for stopping an operation of the ejecting structure, a detecting element is provided for detecting whether the release lever is closed or opened. A solenoid of the solenoid-type eject stopper is energized to stop the operation of the ejecting structure only when the docking apparatus receives an eject stopping signal from the note-type personal computer and the detecting element detects that the release lever is opened.

At and beyond the bottom of armhole, it is divided and knitted into three tubular forms; the back body, the right half of the front body, and the left half of the front body. Armholes are provided between tubular forms. At the shoulders, the three tubular forms are united back to one single tubular form, and the back body and the right and left halves of the front body of the outer fabric are joined, and similarly, the back body and the right and left halves of the front body of the inner fabric are joined.

摘要： An instruction fetching device includes one or both of a cache device and a branch history table. The cache device stores a plurality of pairs, each pair including an instruction string divided into minimum unit instructions and an address of the instruction string. At the time of reading an instruction, an instruction string is selected and output by every minimum unit instruction from at least two pairs. The branch history table stores a plurality of pairs, each pair including a branch destination address and a set of an address of a branch instruction and a value obtained by subtracting a given value from the address. At the time of reading an instruction, first, a pair having an address of a branch instruction which address is the nearest to a head address of an instruction string to be read out is selected from a plurality of pairs, each pair including an address of a branch instruction which address is in a predetermined address range including the instruction string to be read out, or each pair of the plurality of pairs including a value obtained by subtracting a given value from the address of the branch instruction. Then, a branch destination address is selected and output from the pair which is selected first from the plurality of pairs.

摘要： A number of embodiments of water powered devices that are adapted to be positioned in a stream of moving water and which carry water wheels for driving a driven device. The driven device may comprise a generator and a number of embodiments are illustrated for holding the generator against rotation and for absorbing its torque loading. In addition, a device is provided for insuring buoyancy of the device so that the water wheels float with their axis above the level of water. In some embodiments, the buoyant device comprises a buoyant float that also provides a hydrodynamic lift and a hydrodynamic force for carrying the device to the center of the stream. In other embodiments, the device comprises a hydrodynamic device that provides both the lift and the transverse force. An arrangement is disclosed which permits stacking of the water wheels for ease of packing and additionally an arrangement is disclosed for permitting replacement of individual blades of the water wheels. Various ganging arrangements are also disclosed.

摘要： A power converter such as an inverter or chopper using self-turn-off type semiconductor devices supplies power to an inductive load and free wheel diodes are provided so that the current flowing through this load circulates not through the power supply but through the free wheel diodes. When it is detected that the load current exceeds a predetermined value, the self-turn-off-type semiconductors which are conductive are turned off. At this time, the self-turn-off-type semiconductors which are turned on and immediately thereafter cause the recovery current to flow in the free wheel diodes are turned off not immediately but after the recovery current disappears.
