Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus for V2V, V2X, or D2D communication may be a transmitting device configured to determine a source ID for communication over a link, to determine a destination ID for the communication over the link based on a type of the communication. The transmitting device may be further configured to transmit at least one control message over the link, where the control message(s) indicate the source ID and the destination ID. In certain aspects, a receiving device may be configured to receive the control message over the link, where the control message indicates the source ID and the destination ID. The receiving device may be configured to receive a data message over the link and to determine whether to attempt to decode the data message received over the link based on the source ID and the destination ID indicated in the control message.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable mediums for wireless communication are disclosed by the present disclosure. In an example, a host device may determine a pool of preconfigured resources for discovery. The preconfigured resources are designated for one or more of: a discovery preamble, a query signal, a discovery message, and a random access preamble. The host device may transmit the discovery preamble on one or more resources designated for the discovery preamble. A client device may receive the discovery preamble and determine that the client device is interested in receiving information regarding the host device. The client device may transmit a query signal if interested. The host device may determine whether the query signal is received on a resource designated for the query signal in response to the discovery preamble. The host device may transmit a discovery message in response to receiving the query signal.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a method of operating a scheduled entity for wireless communication with a network. In some aspects, the scheduled entity obtains data that is to be transmitted, wherein one or more frequencies are available for transmission of the data. The scheduled entity transmits, to a scheduling entity, a message that includes an amount of the data to be transmitted and a frequency parameter indicating at least one of the one or more frequencies to be used for the transmission of the data. The scheduled entity obtains, from the scheduling entity, a resource grant based on the message and transmits the data based on the resource grant. Abstract: Low latency enhancements for communication systems, including autonomous driving and/or selection scenarios, are provided. A method for communication includes monitoring communication resources in a communication system, determining a set of candidate resources to use for subsequent transmission of information within a time window such that the time window is minimized based on a desired communication latency parameter that considers at least one or more of communication channel congestion and a priority of transmission, determining a set of lowest energy resources from the set of candidate resources, selecting a low energy resource from the set of lowest energy resources, and transmitting data on the selected low energy resource. Abstract: In an aspect, an apparatus, e.g., a base station of a first network, maybe configured to receive UE capability information from each UE of a plurality of UEs, the UE capability information indicating a number of different carrier synchronization timings that the UE can track within a plurality of carriers. The carriers maybe associated with multiple different networks including the first network. The apparatus maybe configured to determine, based on the received UE capability information, a set of synchronization-timing priorities indicating a priority for timing synchronization types for use within each carrier of a set of carriers of the plurality of carriers, and broadcast the set to the UEs. In an aspect, a UE may determine and send the UE capability to a base station. The UE may receive the set of synchronization-timing priorities and perform timing synchronization based on the received set of synchronization-timing priorities.
